BNMIT is school not a college.

I had cleared Comed-K exam and in counselling, I chose BNMIT as i did lot of research on it. It is one of the reputed college in Bengaluru. Among 210 colleges of VTU University in entire Karnataka, BNMIT college comes in range of top 10 position. Only bad thing about this college is that the college is putting too much restriction and strictness on us. During induction program, the college authority told us, "This is school not college". So forget freedom as one watches in movies and imagining their college life. CS and IS branch is very good of my college. For me, it was very good college as teacher staffs are very supportive here. Teachers are very friendly with us. Even very experienced teacher treat us as their own kid. I am a North Indian then too i never faced any kind of discrimination here in this entire college.

As I am a Computer Science branch Student. My class ratio was 1:1 of boys and girls and faculty and student ratio was 1:10.Each and every faculty are Phd holders. Very knowledgable and supportive staff except few teachers. Lab teaching can be improved.

College provide many internship based roles in company which recruits as full time employee after successful completion of internship. I did my internship in TATA Advanced Materials Limited on topic of Sql Server.

During Covid time, they have almost placed 100 percent student except those who want to pursue higher degree courses. Around 50 companies visited in 7th semester. Highest package is of 21lakh. Average package of college is 4.5 lakh. I dont want to study further. I m happy with my job profile of Full stack Engineer in one of the best American IT company Cognizant.

Campus life is full of restrictions. The only best time when you can do anything in this college is Fest time. The fest 'TATVA' happens every year in the month of March and one more day 'Ethnic day' also celebrated like festival here. Sports activities, cultural activities, trekking are all part of extracurricular activities. Many extracurricular activities are happening in this name. I cant remember all here.Every branch has their own club.

Fee structure of every college is same in VTU colleges. For people who are native of Karnataka has to give CET exam and for North Indian, they have to clear COMEDK test I have got my placement in American IT company Cognizant and whatever knowledge i have acquired from the college in field of SQL, C,C++,JAVA everything is getting utilized.

Hostel location is out of the college for Boys. In college campus, only Girls hostel are there inside campus. Food in Hostel changes each and every day. But yes, if u eat for 2 months, one will get bored of hostel food.

ComedK written exam only we have to clear to get admission in the college. The exam consists Physics, Maths and Chemistry exam. Each section are of 60 marks. Max marks are 180. If you are Jee Aspirant then it is very easy for you to get rank in the range of 5000.
