My hkbk journey

Good- The college has a friendly silent atmosphere, all the teachers are supportive and understanding. Good facilities like sports, cafeteria, placement trainings, library etcBad-The college consists of majority of muslim religion and are given preference during admissions.I chose this college because it was near my house and will save my travelling time. I joined this college through CET in SNQ quota. Hence my fees was reduced. I referred the karnataka cet portal and tge hkbk official site for reviews and personally visited the college to know it better.

My course was Cse which has the best set teachers compared to other branches in the college. The teachers were all so friendly, supportive and knowledgeable. There were a total of 250 students for cse branch which were divided into 5 sections. The teachers used to teach us using the projector then give us notes to refer after completion of each module. We had 3 internals and 1 main exam. The 3 internal marks were reduced to 20 and 2 internals out of 3 could be attended which was conducted by the college. The main exam was conducted for 80marks by the University. I personally didn't find difficulty in passing the exam.

Campus placements are average, most of the campus placements would be by the job training institutes, and some were pool campuses. I got a job in wipro through pool campus for a package of 3.5lpa. highest package was 7lpa which was from practo company.

There was fresher's day, sports day, cultural events, college fest calipso, onam was celebrated and there were several clubs for different interesting activities for each talent. We enjoyed alot and tge cafeteria, sports club, playground were the best social places.

Since I had joined the college through CET snq quota my fees was very less i.e 19000 per year. The Cet general quota had 75000 per year. And through management it was 2lakh to my knowledge. University scholarships were available but I had never applied for it since my fees was already less so I have no idea about that.Campus placements are average, most of the campus placements would be by the job training institutes, and some were pool campuses.
