Entrance Preview

CET - Common Entrance Test , Karnataka. I had a 13000 ranking in CET after my 2nd PUC . I had options of Ambedkar college(Electrical) , UVCE(Civil) but I opted EWIT mainly as I was interested in CSE branch. Also that the college had shown good placements the previous year of my joining.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course is very vast. Provided very good insight on the overall software engineering. With complete knowledge on all the CSE subjects

Placement Experience

Placements are below average. We had one proper placements with infosys. Post that were all pool campus mostly involving 5/6 collges and they choosing only 2 / 3 out of them.

College Events

College organised sattvam every year for all culturals. With 2 complete weeks on various events like fashion show,dance,ethnic day, sports day, rose day etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure was fixed as per government. Plus 5000 every year for admissions and additional exam fees.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships were provided for students with lower income. As per rules from karnataka government.

Exam Structure

Lab exams were conducted once in 3 weeks. Internals once in 3 weeks. It prepared us well for mains

Faculty

Faculty are very good. All masters degree faculty with good knowledge on the subject. However some faculty were average as the college allowed the final year passout students to teach a few subjects to first and second year students. Overall the faculty are above average

the curriculum is practical up to date and the assignments are project based that encourages better understanding. the assignments are also real world based that require ,the students, to undestand the subjects better. there are 3 internal test with lab tests include that test the student's knowledge in the subject

the eligibily might be from 3rd year. There are several companies such as capegemini hitachi patym dmart. 700 offers are offered. Highest is 25 lakh and average is around like 5 lakh. After the completion of my degree i would like to persue higher studies like MS.

Placement stats are pretty good, offers above 50LPA have also been granted to students, but they are not as common. With a good cgpa, 5+ LPA can be ensured. Students from 6th sem become eligible for placements, companies such as TI, Apple, Daimler Trucks etc have come for placements

From the 5th semester, students are eligible for campus selection. A lot of companies visit like Bosch, Amazon, Flipkart, aequs, and many more. Around 40% of students get placements in the visited companies. My plan is to start a business by own.

It's a good clg out clg is underrated

I only applied to this in management as my cet rank was bad and choose this clg because they take less fee compared to other big colleges and it's near to my home and no traffic only 10 minutes away it's easy to go and cm.
