NIT ALLAHABAD Life

The best things of mnnit allahabad is good placement record and this is located in my home state. The overall placement of my college is about 90%. and avg ctc is increasing every year.Faculty members have excellent knowledge of their syllabus, and they are just perfect in it. But you have to show interest to learn things from them else they will teach only whatever necessary. The course curriculum is a bit outdated, which is the same problem in all NITs and IITs. There are various clubs which deal with new technologies which can help us to cope up with things of the modern industry.The highest package was 18 Lacs, the minimum is 6 lakhs, and average 7 Lacs. Microsoft, Tata have come on campus. Our college is ranked 2nd among NITs in India.

Production engineering is equivalent to mechanical engineering. As you know Mechanical engineering is allocated when you got 2000 rank in JEE so if you got above this rank you couldn't got mechanical engineering but you can get production engineering. Placement chances are same as mechanical engineering almost every companies allowed production engineering when mechanical is allowed. So dont worry about placementOur teachers are very helpful, friendly, and genius. The teaching quality is very appreciative and fabulous. The course curriculum is also relevant and it makes students ready for industryThere was 33 students in my class.Exam's level was though.

There are very few internship opportunities in my branch. But other branches have good internship opportunities such branches are Computer science and engineering, information technology, electronics and communication engineering, electrical engineering, chemical engineering. Approx 40% students got internship opportunities and some intern got pre placement offers.Stipend was vary according branch CSE Students got approx 50000 stipend and other branch got lower stipend then CSE Students

There were several fest in my college.Hack 36 is a fest which was held in feb.Culrav is annual cultural fest which was held in march. Renaissance was held in march. Avishkar was held in November. Avishkar is a tech fest.There were several sports activities such as Cricket, tennis, volleyball, basketball, football, badminton, hockey, skating, judo, chess, carrom etc. Several sports fest were organised. Athletic meet is very popular sports tournament. Josh and j lal is also a very famous tournament.There are several clubs for students such as dancing club and drama club

When i pursuing my BTech. Student's those have family income below 100000 the tuition fees is 7000 per semester approx.and 1 -5 lac family income, tuition fees was 23000 and above 5 lac tuition fees was 63000. The hostel mess fee was only 15000 per semester.there are many scholarship in my college. One such scholarship was merit scholarship in which if you are in top 3 in branch you have get some money.

The hostel fees was 15000 per semester. In first year there were three students in one room.but now there is wifi facility also available food was average in first year hostel SVBH. In second year you have several choices of hostel. In second and third year Two students in one room are allocated. In final year single room was allocated.
