A brief experience

The one the main reason of choosing this university was the strong roots of the Poornima Foundation in Rajasthan for last 15 to 20 years. There are 4 more colleges of this foundation which are top ranking colleges of RTU. The best thing to mention is the faculty support for the placements, training and other extracurricular activities. As well as ample of opportunities for personality development.The only thing which I consider to be bad is changing administration. Due to continuous change in policies things become rigid. However, that could be smooth with the period of time.For taking the admissions you just need to google Poornima University and call any of the contact number provided on the website. Once you have conatcted the admission cell the will be in your touch for discussing the further admission procedures. Its an easy process just a councilling and there you go. you got admissioned.I would refer this to the individual who are interested in the field of Computer Science and IT, Hotel Management and MBA program. Other streams are okay but these are the best.The reason I preferred it, was strict rules and regulations regarding studies and attendance which is necessary for building discipline. On the other hand the national level events and fest is also the catchy part.

I choose B.Tech. in EEE as the I was offered scholarship and the exam pattern was easily adoptable. However, as time has change the curriculum need to be reevaluated.When we talk about faculties, no all are highly qualified but are extremely supportive and cooperative.There are 60-40 ratio for internal and external exam, no too hard to crack. The have 2 periodicals, one mid sem and one end sem exam within a semester.

The college provide internship opportunities as well however students are also free to choose the company and apply from them using there references. The college have now provided two semesters for skill development i.e. students now can have both summer and winter training. That is what the time demands, more skills and practical knowledge.I my self did internship in IoT, also awarded as the Best Intern and my team was the winner of Best IoT model by the company. This help me ingeeting placements as well as development of my technical skills.

There is a Placement Cell, looks for the placement opportunity for the student. They aim for atleast one placements for each capable student. The student start getting offers from the 6 semester of there studies. There were more than 150 companies visited for my campus placements however, once the candidate is placed he is only allowed to sit in one more company where he use his dream slot. There are companies like Airtel, Byjus, TCS, Infosys, Genus, Capgemini, pinnacle, who visit the campus.In my 2016 2020 batch highest package was 10Lpa from byjus and lowest was 2.16 by Pinnacle.There are training sessions provided by the college to build confidence in students for the place drives.

There is so much to mention about it, the annual fest LAKSHYA conducted in month of March or April is the main event, I was the part of core team, it was fun. There are more events like NASA national architecture event, Cultural Night, Dandiya Night, freshers, Holi celebration, Dusshera Celebration, sports fest and many more events which any would like to part.British Council conduct Great Braitain Debate national level.National Sports events are conducted. American Football national and international matches are conducted amd participated.Kabaddi national events are conduct.Most of the events are organised by Student Council and rest by students amd administrators of the university. A great place of sports and extracurricular activities.

There was the scholarship concept for the student but now time has change and the students with nation, state or district level sports certificates are given scholarships. The prices of the courses are affordable to a middle class family.

Hostel life is the best part of the university. Both boys and girls hostel is within the campus. You have to pay 80k to 90k depending on the type of accommodation which includes you mess as well.Mess provide morning breakfast, lunch, evening tea and snacks and dinner.Food quality is acceptable and variety of food is available depending on the mess time table.In breakfast your are provided team and milk with either paratha, sandwich, poha, idli and many more.In lunch you have, 2 type of vegetables, Dal, Rice, Roti, salad and papad.In evening, snacks include you tea, sandwich, poha, banana, apple or any other fruit, and more different items.The dinner comprises, two vegetables, roti, daal, rice and any other extra item by the mess.

No. no GD or PI just a counciling session. But the admission may depend on your 12th class percentage.Once you contact the admission cell you just need to visit the campus for your satisfaction nothing else.There are no such criteria of GD and PIfor the selection procedure. However, they may demand sufficient marks in 12th depending upon the course you choose.
