About my college

SVIT, Vasad has a very good reputation and has very good professors. The teaching quality is nice but if you also see the infrastructure of the college it's average. In this college, the admission is based on your ACPC rank on merit-based admission. Then from the management quota, it is based on JEE score and the 12th result. The reason I preferred this college is that it has affordable fees with a great education and good tech activities and other sports activities. This college comes under GTU so it was also my preference. Overall It is a very good college for students who want affordable, good teaching and activities. The placements are also very nice.

I opted for this course coz I wanted to do computer engineering from class 8th. The faculty: student ratio not exactly but around 1:10. All the faculties are highly qualified with masters and PhD with around 10-15 years of teaching experience. The term exams are according to the GTU format only. 1 winter examination, 1 summer examination, 1 midsemester.

The college provides internship opportunities from various companies as they provide us Internshala link for the internship and on it, we have to apply for the internship of any field we want from designing to engineering everything. The stipend is from 1000-20000/per month.

Students become eligible for placement in 3 or 4th year but a student can do an internship from the 1st year itself. SVIT is accredited by TCS and L&T for the campus recruitment drive. The college also provides training for students and tech on how to prepare for GD and interviews and also train for personality development.

The fees are so affordable it is 84,000. And you can apply for many scholarships according to your availability and result. I have applied for an MYSY scholarship in which I got 50% fees from Wavier. One can apply for this scholarship if he/she has 80percentile or above in their HSC board of Gujarat board only.

The annual day and tech fest are too good SVIT Vasad organizes Prakash tech event every year which is a national-level event. The library is also so big and has each and every book and if you don't find any book they will provide you in some days. You can also take any book in softcopy. The sports week and activities are also very nice.

No, there was no Group discussion or any interview the admission was based on the ACPC rank only. You should do good in JEE, Gujcet and your HSc board to get admission to this college. The ACPC rank is counted as 40% of your GUJCET exam and 60% of your 12th exam. So you have to apply for ACPC admission online and select the colleges and the one which fits your marks and rank will be assigned to you and for that, you have to pay 20000 rupees as token fees then you will get admission into your desired college.
