I couldn't get selected at any IIT, NIT, or IIIT. So when UPSEE results came, I found JSS best AKTU college in terms of placements and oppurtunities. Its total intake has 85% by UPSEE merit and 15% by management quota. I got IT here in the 4th round of counseling as the cutoff for IT was 1800-2900 and my rank was 2760. I got cse in VIT also which I didn't prefer as it was the 4th category with a very high fee structure. Manipal, SRM too had a high fee structure, moreover, there were some distance issues too. There are many good aspects of my college and the biggest is its prime location, also many good companies visit here like Amazon and Adobe. There are some bad as well like the curriculum is a little old and traditional types. Moreover, less number of societies and sports fests. But the major good aspect is the affordable and reasonable fee structure, this was one of the main reasons I chose this college over others.

I chose this course as I want to get into the IT industry, my marks weren't enough to get cse, so I went for IT itself. there are over 68 students for single faculty. Faculties of both the kinds are present highly qualifies and some less qualified too. The teaching method of faculty is quite traditional. Semester exams have a moderate level and they are scheduled at the end of the semester. There re sessionals also 3 sessionals in 1 semester.

I am a first-year student, so I dont have much idea about this. But all the companies visit in the #rd year fr recruiting interns. Major companies like TCS Byju's visit for internships at the college.

From semester 5, students are eligible for pre-placements and campus placements. Several companies like Amazon, Adobe, TCS, Vipro, Byjus visit the campus. Offers and packages vary from 3lpa to 40 lpa, depending upon the roles and companies. The average placement is 5-6 lpa and the highest was 40 lpa. All the students from the case, get placed. My plan depends on placements, if I get placed at a good place, I'll work there else I'll go for MBA

The tuition fees are 1.37 lpa and the girl's hostel fees are 90,000 for AC and 60,000 for non-AC. College also provides scholarships like Pragati to needy students. Campus jobs are good, companies like Amazon and adobe also visit. in the 3rd year also, there are companies for internships.

The annual fest is Zealicon, it is the only fest including cultural, sports, and tech events. Several books and journals are available in the library. Classrooms contain benches and boards. Sports facilities like Basketball, Cricket, Football, TT, Badminton, gymnasium, lawn tennis, volleyball are available. there are many societies for extra-curricular activities like verve for music and dance, Illuminati for dramatics and organizes various MUN's.

AC, study table, cupboard, balcony, and a bed are provided in a 3-sharing room. The meal quality is good. Fees is 60,000 for non-ac and 90,000 for ac. Badminton court, a common TV room, and a TT table are provided by the hostel, Many gym equipments are also provided along with a study room.
