Remarks

I chose Magadh Mahila College because it is one of the best colleges for girls in Patna. Talking about the good and the bad aspects of the college here are the facts that helped me understand the college in a better way. The good aspects of the college are as follows: 1. The attendance requirement is low so I get time to follow my other passions and interests. 2. The teachers here are really supportive and encouraging. 3. The faculty is great. 4. One of the best colleges for girls. Now, the bad aspects of the college are as follows: 1. The infrastructure is not upto the mark. 2. No fests are conducted by the college. The admission was merit-based and being 91% holder, I had no problem in getting into the college. Well for choosing this college I used the website of collegedunia that helped me alot in knowing about the college.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

I chose B.Com Hons. because I'm a student of commerce background and I want to do banking later in my life for which this course plays an important part according to me. Most of the teachers have done their PhD and all the teachers have a degree of B.Ed. The teachers have a subtle way of teaching and the teaching method differs from teacher to teacher. Talking about the exams, the exams were very easy and they were online. It wasn't very difficult to pass and the question paper was prepared taking into consideration the mediocre students as well.

Placement Experience

3.5

The placement percentage of our college is around 30%. Placements team members are not very efficient, and a limited number of companies visited our college for placements. The average salary provided is 2 LPA. Mostly, sales executive roles are offered in our college. Some companies like Concentrix, Wipro, and some private banks visited the campus for recruitment.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee of my college is not very high and it is quite affairs and minimal. The fee of B.com Hons. for a year is 16,700 and the fee for the whole course are around 50,000. In online teaching, there is no extra cost of studying except for buying the books. Fee recession is provided to the students who belong to the weaker section of society. The reserved category of students also enjoys several benefits.

Campus Life

4

Although no fests are conducted by our college, we have an annual function that is conducted every year in January. Various prominent personalities like the Chief Minister, the Deputy Chief Minister, and others are invited. We also have a large library that has many books of all types. Talking about the sports and extracurricular activities, the college provides us with the best of opportunities for the same. We have different coaches for different sports.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum needs to focus on what you can do with information rather than the information itself. I wouldn’t eliminate content, without background we cannot form good, rational, and educated conclusions. We are still giving timed tests in math facts! I know that’s traditional, but it just isn’t as important. My era had no calculators and we needed to be proficient at paper and pencil solutions, but now, perfect calculations are available to everyone. We should focus on what kinds of problems can be solved with mathematics. Spelling is equally less important. Vocabulary should be stressed. My sister years ago was taking a test for a personal assistant position where she was asked to type a large number of words per minute error free.

Nothing influenced me yet i just have to go for it because of my graduation . Yes they prepare you good enogh for the rat race you are gonna do in coming future . The curriculam is a joke they will put information today and you have to get today only . I would suggest some of the rules and regulations should be maintained by the staffs and students even with teachers. Exams should in such manner no student can atleast face problems regarding admit cards and can cheat . there is no difficulty in in mid one but final one .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the B.Com curriculum at LNMU around 7.5/10 for relevance and coverage. I chose this course because it included all the important commerce subjects needed for government exams, higher studies like MBA, and basic professional courses. The syllabus builds a good theoretical foundation, but it lacks practical exposure like Tally, GST or real industry projects. Teaching methods are simple and could be improved with more modern, interactive approaches. Exams are held twice a year and follow predictable patterns, so the difficulty level is moderate. With notes and regular study, most students clear them easily.

Big 4 and some manufacturing companies who have large scale accounting are the ones who have partnered with college to get them the real workforce for their organisation. A lot of girls from our college who secured jobs from campus have helped the college build network and make sure every year maximum girls are placed from campus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Firstly the college doesn't prepare students for the real world. Teaching methods of the teachers are okay but it doesn't help in the real world competition. No extra curricular activities are held for students. College gives enough time for preparation for the examination. Anyone can pass easily in this college.
