Remarks
An amazing discussion was done before choosing this college with my parents. I choose this college because there is a lot of discipline in the college and also the amount of exposure I get in this college is just too amazing. The staff and faculty are very professional and good. The amount of knowledge they have is just superb. Also, the campus life is very good. The afterlife of campus i.e the nightlife is amazing. Also, it's very easy for outsiders to find out the pg and flats. The campus also has a hostel facility. Just want to say If any person who cannot handle a lot of tasks at a time should not apply to Christ.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course because I was not sure that which is my line to choose so after viewing the course plan I got to know that for the first 2 years we are going to learn subjects from all the lines and then specialization is to be chosen in the 3rd year so till then I would be able to do that. The average number of students in a class is 60 and the faculty is well trained in their subjects and holds a Ph.D. degree in the lines. The exams are conducted twice in 1 semester termed mid-semester exams and end-semester exams and covered with the CIA's all around the semester.
Placement Experience
The students are eligible to get sit for placements after the fifth semester after their internship period is over and then they can apply for the placement. The main companies that come are Goldman Sachs, the big four(Deloitte, KPMG, etc.) And many more banks like ICICI OR HDFC BANK. There are more than 95% of people who got placed. My plan after getting the degree is to work for an organization for 2 years and Side by side preparation for MBA exams like Cat and Xat.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees for my complete course is nearly 6lakhs i.e 186000 per year to be precise. But this is not only the cost if you are not from Bangalore. You need to pay for a pg or a flat which costs around 10k per month and 2-3k is the living expense of a person per month. The placement cell of the college is pretty good and almost everyone in the course gets placed.
Campus Life
The campus life and the after campus life are both amazing . The amount of fests that happens in Christ are uncountable considering the number of Volunteering organization that are present in the Christ. But the main business fests that are conducted during the year are -Telesto,Inferno and Novoice There is a projector and speaker present in every classroom for better study There is no playground on the campus. We need to move to the central campus to play sports. The best part is the society.I recommend everyone to join at least CSA and SWO if you are a Christite
Interview Experience
The test pattern was 1) There was a test nameD CUET(Christ University Entrance test) where you need to get a minimum amount of marks to qualify 2)Next you are asked to sit for an interview with the faculty expert or anyone having appropriate knowledge and within the interview, you are given an on-the-spot topic to speak upon which contains the maximum amount of the weightage of the interview.
