GOOD AND AFFORDABLE COLLEGE IF YOU WANT TO PREPARE FOR MASTERS

I attended the college because of the following reasons: * The college campus is very beautiful and provides the perfect environment for studies. * Students take admission from various parts of the state and this helps to achieve a healthy competition. * The faculty is the best. The teachers are Doctorate and masters in their respective teaching subjects.

The course curriculum is quite interesting. the curriculum does not only include theoretical knowledge but also practical knowledge of the subject which is why I chose this course. There are 600 students which are divided into 8 sections. Every class has a different teacher for every subject. The faculty are from reputed colleges with much experience in their teaching field. They give us notes and also provide books for studying. There are weekly revision classes for every subject. There are annual exams held from the university but in order to give a practice of exam environment the college organizes internal exams which are similar to the university exams and help us to prepare well in advance for the final exams.

There is no placement for students learning the BCom course as it is a non-professional course. If you apply for a job Outside the campus then it is not an issue. Most students go for Higher education. only 10% of students get placed without campus placements. I went for a sales and marketing job in Kanpur itself as I wanted to go for an MBA in sales.

The course costs a total of 32000 rupees only. This has to be paid in three payments in the event of consecutive years. The first year one has to pay 10000 rupees during the time of admission and then 10000 rupees the second year and the third year one has to pay 12000 rupees. Scholarships are provided for EWS candidates which completely depends on the Kanpur University. You cannot get a loan for the course and there are no campus stipends.

The annual fest which is organized is KALANJALI. It is a complete student-organized fest with complete guidance and support from the faculty. The college has a vast library with a plethora of books available. The classrooms are quite basic with no AC facility but the infrastructure is apt and good for studying. There is a girls and boys' washroom on each floor. There is a sports fest organized including sports like football, cricket, volleyball, basketball, table tennis, chess, and many other activities. The winners and participators are recognized adequately.
