You can get admission through CAT score. After filling up the form they will call you for the interview process. IMI New Delhi is a fairly good institute. If you are looking forward to learning opportunities then it is undoubtedly one of the best institutes. Good faculty, great industry exposure, and location advantage are positive parts of this B-school. The holistic development of each and every individual is incredible.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course Curriculum covers all the important topics that you need to learn in an MBA course. The faculty members are very qualified. Group projects, quizzes, class activities, case studies are used to achieve the course goals. Faculties are very helpful and there are many guest lectures that happen from where we can get enough industry knowledge.

Internships Opportunities

There are many companies from various sectors that come to recruit students for the summer internship. Please prepare some basic questions and go through the subjects you will learn in the first 2 semesters for the preparation. Students can also opt-out and find internships on their own.

Placement Experience

3.5

You have to do a summer internship which is part of the course curriculum and carry 3 credit points. The summer internship interviews start in September or October. The placement interviews happen in 2nd year. The highest package is 30 lakhs per annum and the average goes 12-13 lakhs per annum.

Fees and Financial Aid

The course fees is almost 18 lakh. You can take a loan or can pay on your own. There is financial assistance available. If you are opting for a hostel then it will cost almost 4 lakh in 2 years. There are a few scholarships also available.

Campus Life

For us, the class is completely online due to the pandemic ongoing, so there is no "Campus Life" to be precise. For each term, books are shipped to our house. There are few online journal sites that are available for us but that is not much helpful. There are many committees, clubs, and societies that are run by students and you can be part of it.

Placement Experience:

Placements of my college are average when compared with other B-schools of similar level. The companies which have visited so far for internships are mostly start ups like Wealth Blue and Outlook, but some other companies like ITC, Bajaj Capital and Coca Cola moon beverages have also come on campus. The highest stipend promised so far is 15,000 for 3 months or 10,000 per month for 2 months. A lot of students are yet to be placed, both for final and summer placements. My plan is also to get a job post my PGDM.

Compass provide a place the highest package our were born is 20 lakhs per annum from the Fite department and the average placement gets around 8 to 10 laks and the minimal is7-8 lakhs. The placement is good in sales and finance department. Most of the companies comes for sales and Management. You can also offer for the finance.

Good opportunity in JIMS

Placement Experience:

From 4th trimester onwards that if from August onwards after coming back from 3 months summer internships, companies come for placements and students can apply to the companies. The companies that visited campus are DELOITTE, KPMG, ACCENTURE,TCS, RANDSTAD,ICICI,SBI, MOTILAL OSWAL, BAJAJ, ASIAN PAINTS, ADITYA BIRLA, BLACKROCK, GRIDLINES etc. and many more. The highest package of our batch went for 24 lakhs( Oman based company) , average went around- 7-8 lakhs , lowest - 4.5-5 lakhs. Profiles offered- Sales head, operational manager, Deputy branch manager, Junior Analyst, Analyst, HR - talent acquisition team , underwriting team etc. Right now more than 80% of students have gotten placed and rest are in the placement process which will be till April. I have been placed in ICICI LOMBARD for Underwriting and Claims process and will be joining the company soon.
