Remarks

Good aspects-1. Neat and clean beautiful, greenery safe campus & hostel, cultural site carefully maintained here. 2 .Shops for necessary goods, High security system 3.Well Education system, modern technology in classroom, sufficient space for every student, practical lab available for every course, highly educated faculties and their provided notes are standard enough. Bad aspects- lacking of equipments for practical and field, books in library not sufficient. Food quality should be improved. They are giving admission to 60% or less marks holder also our students are above 215 so it's a bad aspects for this every body not gaining all opportunities especially in study. 2. Admission process available in online mode during June- July. 3. Also here is scholarship from 50%marks only, hospital, medical available here. 4. www.tnu.in

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

1. Reason for choosing-Now a days lacking of food and malnutrition is a serious issue. I chose this course cause only agriculture department can solve this problem and I want to be a part of this Nobel work and of course job opportunities high in this sector now it is also a reason. 2. We have above 30 faculties, and for every subject we have faculties. 3. 80% Faculties are PHD holder and others are doing PHD. They all time teach us better than Government college, covered total syllabus. Even in this pandemic also they are doing practical's by their own and sending us videos. I think this is the best they can do in this situation. But it is becoming little hard to do online classes for so many hours, time limit should be reduced. 4. All time our college following exact academic year no change in this pandemic also. Subject are comparatively more in number than other departments but if you give a little bit time to your subject I don't think passing is difficult.

Placement Experience

3.5

1. From 7th semester we are eligible. 2. Only Jio once came, no agriculture related company till now visited. As we are the 1st batch and we are now in 6th semester. 3&4. Till now here is no placement opportunities for agriculture department, so I am unable to tell it. But our faculties are in involved for arranging interviews from now , they are consulting with so many companies agriculture related. I hope we will get placement when we will be eligible. 5. My plan to do MSc. After getting the degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

1. Fees we have to give in 2 installments, total 73000. In this pandemic they are allowing us to give it in 4 installment if anybody wants. 2. Two scholarship is here Sarbodoya and Tejassi, whose parents are govt. job holder for them also they are providing scholarship in a less amount. For those whose parents are not government employee for them scholarship amount is more. From 60 % marks they are reducing 25% educational fees and from 91% marks no education fees only hostel fee you have to give. Scholarship are available in this manner. 1. 60-80% marks- 25% , 2. 80-85% - 50% , 3. 85-90%- 75% , 4. Above 90% free.

Campus Life

4.5

1. Tech fest named impulse, also from technical department they organize one fest, in fests They arrange so many cultural programmes, different inter- competition for students. And mainly 3rd and 4th year students arrange everything. 2. Books are available but not sufficient and for every subject books are not available here for our batch. But our juniors enjoy library facilities very well cause books are coming now. 3. In classroom well ventilation system, sufficient fan, light, air-conditioned labs, sufficient benches to sit. 5. Ajantrik, and a tech club is here they celebrate almost every occasions. Also cine club, singing, poem, Sports Club. Almost every sports opportunities they are providing with proper coaching like badminton, basketball, cricket. Swimming pool is also their with trainer, gym facilities also. And fountain day, Independence Day, teacher's day, language day etc so many occasions are celebrated here.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

1. Fan, light, Wi-Fi, bed, bed shit, mosquito net, mattress, laundry availability, sweeper for every hostelers are available. But few rooms are too small not all rooms. 2. They provide 2 times fish, 2 times chicken, and 4 times egg per week but vegetables not as required food quality should be improved. 3. For getting hostel during admission we have to mention. Hostel rooms are enough till now nobody faced problem for getting hostel. Even one boys Hostel is enlisted west Bengal's 4th largest hostel. 4. I am a hostelers no living in PG or rented room but here PG is available .

Interview Experience

3.5

Actually our English teachers make us practiced for GD, topics were random, they also taught us how to present ourselves in interview, how to give self introduction. As we are now just in 3rd semester and doing classes from home we till have no experience of interview. But our teachers already enlisted our names for placement purpose. We attend a 2 weeks class series about aspects and Job opportunities on every main subject of Agriculture. They also making us prepared for entrance exam by discussing question pattern, which books to study and other needful. We are attending quiz every month for each subject also, doing practical based assignments it helps us to improve our knowledge and preparing us for future job interviewes.

The exam was divided into 3 parts I.e 1st mock (15) marks,2nd mock(15 mark) and then final (50mark) and rest 20 mark as practiCal and field work.the students who do class regularly,is easy to pass because teachers are awesome..but if anyone miss class then it's hard to understand by reading books. The guard during exam is too hard..so those students who read concentrately are passed easily .. and those who don't read whole year and only read exam night they failed..
