Excellent College

I joined this college through DOTE, i.e, Anna University Counselling. I was interested in Biotechnology and this was one of the good colleges available for my department in Chennai. I had also referred to the college website to view details about the amenities and various facilities and found them suitable. I also heard positive reviews about the college from a few friends.

Our batch was extremely fortunate to have such a versatile and well-experienced group of faculty members. The faculty was very thorough in explaining the concepts and were very friendly, we could clarify our doubts anytime. The college had a proper academic schedule and classes were held regularly with several periodic assessments which helped us to learn more concepts in the long run. The faculty members were very supportive and were ready to give us guidance regarding career and projects. They often encouraged us to attend internships and participate in symposiums and conferences. This college has played a very pivotal role in establishing a good foundation for my career.

The students are provided aptitude and soft skills training from the first year itself. The students are eligible for placements from the 6th semester onwards. Various IT companies as well as certain companies related to core departments had visited the college for placements. The highest package offered in our class had been about 4 lakh pa by Zifo. Several other students were also placed in jobs related to patents and medical coding.

The fees structure were moderate and they had offered a reduction in fees on a merit basis based on 12th std marks. Other scholarships such as BC, First graduate, etc. were also available. I had secured a job through campus placement in TNQ Technologies Pvt Ltd. for the post of Trainee- Language Editing with a CTC of 2.6 lakh pa.

The campus organized various symposiums by each department every year. We also had College Day annually where meritorious students are awarded as well as awards for attendance, extracurricular and sports activities. The campus also usually organized various competitions as part of Women's Day Celebrations every year. The campus also frequently organized talks by various eminent speakers. The classrooms have good ventilation and lighting, spacious, proper benches and blackboard. A drinking water facility is available and well-maintained restrooms are available on each floor and a college bus facility is also available for transport. Overall the campus has a very good infrastructure and the labs are also good.
