Remarks

The college is among the top colleges of Mumbai and also has great alumni and faculty size. The only thing that college lacks is the absence of Campus. The college is near to my residence and easy to travel. The admission was on a merit basis so was directly online through the College. All my siblings and cousins have been graduated from the same.

Course Curriculum Overview

I was pursuing CA and hence Bcom was the easiest and flexible course. The faculties were good in their own fields and but lacked a student-teacher ratio. As there was a merger of sections, there were 80 students against 1 faculty. The methodology of teaching was good and the exam pattern was efficient and competitive.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 800000 per year

Internships Opportunities

It provides on campus internship with many companies which come to hire. Companies like JP Morgan, JM financial, Godrej, etc. are among some MNCs that come to hire interns. Projects are on basis of respective fields like finance, marketing, operations, HR, etc.

Placement Experience

Placements are good with tie-ups with MNCs as well as small companies and startups. I am currently an intern at a CA consultancy firm. The campus promises 100% placement with an average CTC of around 6 lacs. I am planning to continue in the field of finance.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees is quite high considering the present pandemic situation. Though the college provides scholarships but not adequate. The internship from the college is based on a performance basis and one knows the Work from the Home pattern.

Campus Life

The books and other materials are available through courier and on websites. classrooms are good and spacious but not attended as due to pandemic. There are many activities in the college and many clubs for every field to execute such activities.

Interview Experience

My GD topic was "Future of Electric Vehicles in India". Interview questions were basic and stick to the finance field as well. The GDPI was held at Hyderabad Campus and was effective. I took practice sessions for GD and PI from my Classes.

My SBS Journey

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

Not a dream college but a real one

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

from 2 sem you get to apply from interships and from 5th sem for placements ,i applied for only company which was tiaa one of the most biggest mnc in india who is direct compitator of jp morgan , i got a package of 6 lacks ctc per anum but the highest package was 12 lacks , the college has a policy that all student gets placed no students are left behind

Promising campus with room for better faculty.

Placement Experience:

After sem 4 we get final placement companies in the campus there are total 200 plus companies come to the campus till september to november almost 35 companies already come to the campus. The companies are ICICI, HDFC, RISHAB WORLD, INSYNC, DENSTU, ITC, BHARAT ELECTRONICS, CORDELIA CRUISE, MORNING STAR, NOMURA, NYKA, NAUKRI.COM. the highest package was given by a company name bharat electronics for HR specialization is 12 lakhs per annum. Almost in my time there 35percent get placed. I plan after degree is first 3-5 yrs in corporate lufe then after own business.

To be honest there are placements but the placements are like no one want to be there it is just something unacceptable for the HR students . The promises the long talks are all false and they doesn't focus on students future and career rather they care for just attendance

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.

No such bad remarks though. As the college is very superior and one can take admission with complete ease as the college faculty, staff, workers are very helpful and there motive is very clear and remarkable. This college surely helps students in grooming and enhancing skill to the top. I would definitely recommend this college to the upcoming students those who are planning to do MBA in order to achieve goals and learn quality skills.

I applied for ibs mumbai because of it's location, teaching and faculty. It was according to my requirements.
