Admission to the University Institute of Technology Rgpv Bhopal is done through MP dte counselling. You have to give JEE mains exam and then apply for counseling and admission is done only on the basis of merit. If you are not getting any IIT or NIT, IIIT and in MP state colleges like SGSITS, DAVV then surely you can go for this college this is a very famous college in MP. It has good infrastructure as compared to other government colleges. It has low fees and facilities. I am in the electronics and communication engineering branch. I choose this branch because of its versatility. You can go for the IT sector as well as the core sector by choosing this course. At my branch, there are 140 students having two sections of 70 each. The student ratio is pretty good. I guess there are approx. 40-50 girls are there in total students. Since this college is a government college so teachers are highly qualified and having good subject knowledge. It's all about how they teach some are good and some are not that interested in teaching and it happened in every government college where you go. Exams and quizzes happen on regular basis but they are not that tough. If you do study well you can easily score good marks.

For final year Students, companies visit every year. Most of the recruitment is done by the TCS, which visits every year. Most of the companies are mass recruiters and I would say if you are dreaming of the big package it is very difficult to grab it from here you have to apply outside. The average package is 3 LPA. and the highest package is approx. 7-8LPA. in Campus. The average placement is 60-65%.

The best part of this college is its fee structure, for general category students it is 32000 per annum but if you are from any other reserved category you will have to be less or none according to your category criteria. Scholarships are also provided to eligible Candidates according to their annual income or category. Under the Medhavi Chhatra Yojana irrespective of category, every eligible student gets full fees waived by the government.

There are some clubs and societies Run by students which work on students development like, insync,Asper ,E-cell Rgpv etc. Fests are not organized by college but some events are organized by students themselves. Our library is one of the largest libraries in Madhya Pradesh. Where you can get books and journals according to your need. For Sports and extracurricular - activities sports complex is in the construction process. Also, Some sports events are organized by college.
