Remarks

The admission process was quite simple. The entrance test for b.pharm was based upon the basic syllabus of class 12th. The major subject was English and science. I have preferred to get admitted to GLA University because it was ranked 1st in UP and 3rd in India as a private institution. It is also recognized by UGC and AICTE. It has secured grade A by NAAC. These achievement has attracted me to get admission in this particular university. Moreover, after visiting the campus I have realized the opportunities and the extracurricular tasks are also given equal importance as that of studies. There are proper library facilities and all the faculties are very supportive and highly qualified who help students in achieving their desired goal in a particular time span.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I have chosen B. pharm because I was from a science background specifically PCB but mathematics opted students could also do this course. The faculty members are highly qualified and experienced professors. They help every student to make them understand the detailed concept of every topic. There are different faculty for different subjects who have gained specialization in that particular field. The exams are done semester-wise. In one semester there are three modules. The first and second module contains syllabus of that particular module while the third module contains the whole syllabus. There is two-semester in a year.

Placement Experience

3.5

The placements are good. Many renowned companies visit the campus for the recruitment of students. Such as apollo, alembic, digiversal, elli lili, healthviser, healthwatch etc. The students are also provided personality development classes to make them confident to appear for the interview

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are quite high but the university offer scholarship for the meritorious students who secure the first position in their respective batch. Moreover, the university also accepts the same scholarship provided by the UP government. The students could pay the fees in two installments i.e., semester-wise also. A hostel facility is also provided by the college.

Campus Life

4

There are many clubs such as drishti club, saturangle club, ninad club, sports club, management club and many more which offers the student to perform their arts and skills. The college also conducts various grand fest in which celebrities are invited as chief guest.

Hostel Facilities

5

The hostel room is very spacious and a bed, as well as a table chair, is also provided by the college itself. There are triple as well as double seater rooms. The mess food is also very nice there is variety in the food. The mess offers breakfast lunch snacks and dinner. On Sundays, we are also offered some special dishes. The hostel is affordable as per the facilities.

Interview Experience

4

For getting admission in bachelor course there is no GD round or any interview. The applicant only has to pass the entrance test GLAET conducted by the university itself. Firstly, the candidate needs to register themselves by visiting the official website of the university then pay the application fees and book their examination slot.

Placement Experience:

Placements in my college are average, not very high but some companies do visit every year. Students become eligible for placements from final year, mostly from 7th or 8th semester. Companies are not very big mostly local or mid level pharma companies come. Some roles offered are like production, quality control and marketing. Highest package is not very high, around 3-4 LPA and average package is around 2-2.5 LPA. Percentage of students getting placement is not very high, maybe around 40-50% approx. Many students prefer to go for higher studies or try off campus jobs. My plan after completing degree is to look for job in pharma field or maybe go for higher studies depending on opportunity. Overall placement is okay but needs improvement.

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college is average, not very high but also not too bad. Students become eligible for campus placement from 7th semester. Some companies visit the college but not many big companies comes regularly. Companies like small pharma companies and local companies visit and offer roles like production, quality control and sales. The highest package is around 3–4 LPA and average package is about 2–2.5 LPA. Number of offers is also limited and not all students get placed. Around 30-40% students get placement from campus, rest students have to search job on their own or go for higher studies. College gives some support but not very strong placement help. Because of this, many students including me are planning for higher studies or preparing for competitive exams to get better opportunities. Overall placement is okay but need improvement.
