"FACTS ABOUT BHAWANIPUR"

Bhawanipur college is a good prestige college. It has very excellent facilities out there, they give full exposure to every student in every field. The overall infrastructure of the campus is also good. I had only applied for Bhawanipur education society college as it was near my home and also because there is no issue of attendance in the college. To get admission to BESC( Bhawanipur education society college) firstly, you need to fill the admission form from the college website for the admission form you need to pay some amount. For the B.com( Hons ) students, there are three sessions i.e. Morning session which is from 6:30 am -10:30 am Afternoon session (only for girls) which is from 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm and the Evening session is from 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm. The student is selected based on their marks. After getting selected first of all you are asked to pay the fees online. After that, the college gives us a particular where we are asked to come to the college for the submission of documents.

B.com(Hons) is one of the most popular undergraduate courses in commerce. The reason to choose B.com(Hons) was that it gives us a greater career opportunities in future and also because it is the first choice of all the commerce students. The faculty members of the college are very kind and helpful. All the professor's of our college holds professional degree . They have the teaching experience for many years. The teachers are very supportive and helpful they try to make us understand the subjects properly. After every 2 or 3 months we have to sit for test. The internal exam takes place one month before the final semester exam. The attendance also carries 10 Mark's and the Mark's are added in the internals.

College placement is really good. you are eligible from the first year of college.there is so small and big companies visited in your college but I don't remember the name.12-15 lakhs highest companies offer.i don't have any plans after getting the degree.i am only doing because my parents force me to do that.

The fees of Bhawanipur education society college(BESC) is expensive as compared to the other colleges under Calcutta University(CU). The fees for the first year is 50000 in which the admission fee is also included. For the second year the fees is 44000 the fees is needed to be paid at once. But this year due to the pandemic we were asked to pay the fees semester wise. The fees for the third year is around 49000. Since I am in 2nd year I have not got any placement. I have heard from the seniors that the college does not provide 100% placement only the students who got good Mark's gets the placement. Some well known companies like Axis bank, HDFC, Airtel, TCS(TATA CONSULTANCY SERVICE) ,Indigo comes in the college for the placement.

UMANG is the annual fest of our college which takes place once in every year but due to the pandemic, it is not taking place. It usually takes place in the month of December. Bhawanipur college is famous for conducting various types of programs in the college. The plus point of our college is that almost every day there is some program going on which is also good for us as we can get exposure and learn many new things. All the semester books are available in the college library. The drawback of our college library is that we can only take 3 books with ourselve. We can sit in the library and study for how many hours we want to. In order to take the books with ourselves we need to issue the books from the library itself. The books are then need to be reissued on the required date. Apart from the college canteen the sports arena is the place where the students spend most of their time.The sports arena of our college is well maintained and developed.
