Remarks
Good aspects of HBTU: HBTU is 100 year old so it has reputation as compared to new colleges and placement is quite good in some good branches placement is 90-100% while in some branches which is not considered as good as other have placement of 40-60% Which is quite good and branch is increasing every year. HBTU conduct its own counselling and most of the students not know about this so if you get rank between 1lakh-2 lakh apply for counselling till spot round. https://hbtu.ac.in/
Course Curriculum Overview
Truth is with my percentile best branch I could get is BIO CHEMICAL but in starting I was not happy with it but after sometime I understood that it also have his own opportunity. And student ratio is good only limited students are in my branch (29-30). I must say in 1st year only few teacher is permanent and other are guest faculty but teaching is quite good(smart board, good labs, online lecture ) In 1 year there is 2 semester , every semester have 2 exams (mid semester and end semester) passing these marks is not so hard just focus on class and you pass it.
Placement Experience
I must say college placement is too good branches like paint, plastic, chemical have more than 95% placement. CS, IT , electronic, electrical have placement between 85-90% . Mechanical ,oil ,food have 70% placement. Bio chemical, civil have 50-60% placement. These all placement ratio are rough figures , I got it by approximating last few year placement. But every year these graph increase slightly and in some students get off placement which is not mentioned in college placement cell. Fees and Financial Aid
1 year fees in 135000 and every year 10% increment in fees. But you need to pay extra 22000 for hostel and mess. But you will also get some money from scholarship which is good thing but every year scholarship is not same it may vary according to UP government. Yeah there is 100% off for branch opener. And for job on campus you can give your own efforts for it...
Campus Life
HBTU campus is quite large there are many annual fest and tech fest but timing is decided by administrator . HBTU have large library where you get at least every type of books and journals library have more than enough space and peace so feel relieved in library. Classroom is average not so high tech neither too basic more than enough fir classes. There are many clubs in college in which you can involve and there are also some students who run their own website .
