Remarks

College is decent enough for MBA for an average student. The admission process and related dates are mentioned in the brochure. Generally, the GD/PI starts from January end and continue till the 1st week of March. Teaching pedagogy and overall course structure are up-to-date. The most important thing is placement which is pretty good compared to other B Schools of the same category. I used to browse Shiksha to get insights about this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course curriculum is at per with the contemporary reputed B Schools with special emphasis on career development. Faculty members are mostly PhD holders having huge industry experience. The teacher: student ratio is 1:10. Exams take place on a semester basis and quite timely. You need to be thorough to get a decent grade.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

The internship opportunities are available but paid ones are pretty less. Also, students have the option to arrange their own internship from outside the college. There are different kind of roles based on the specializations you choose. Internships open up great opportunities for freshers as they get industry exposure and get hands-on training.

Placement Experience

3.5

Placement is quite decent compared to other tier 2 B Schools in Hyderabad. The average package ranges from 6-7 lakhs. Tolaram offers the highest package of 50 lakhs in the Sales & Marketing domain. Almost 80% of students get placed from campus while few of them opt out at a later stage.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is well organized and fees should be paid before the commencement of every Semester. If there is a hike in fees, it will be informed well in advance. The opportunity of scholarship is there on the basis of Entrance test scores.

Campus Life

4

It's very difficult about Campus Life because of the ongoing pandemic. As heard from the seniors, campus life islet. The technical-managerial and cultural fests of ICFAI Hyderabad is quite famous and students from different colleges participate in different events. It's a gala time for the students on Campus. There is a wide array of scope for extracurricular activities since you will get the chance to work with different clubs.

Hostel Facilities

3

Hostel life is splendid as heard from the seniors. The facility of single sharing rooms, as well as two sharing, are available. Hostel rooms are pretty good as well as the mess. The entire MBA course is residential. So, even if you are a localite, you will have to stay in hostels.

Interview Experience

3.5

There is a GD/PI process before the final screening. Topics of GD/PI are mostly from current affairs and innovations on the latest technologies. Specific slots will be allocated to every student for Group Discussions. After the completion of GD, you have to wait for PI. Just be clear about your objective, and get yourself well versed with some GK/Current affairs topics. Watch some YouTube videos and you will be all set.

To settle in the good financial sector and to improve my skills. The student ratio is less in MBA courses. The faculty is less supportive. The faculty is well educated with Ph.D. and Doctraits, Method of teaching should be changed. There was no time for preparation for term exams. It was quite difficult to pass.
