My college experience

This college can provide me with the best platform among the Tier 2 colleges in Hyderabad where I can get the utmost exposure. The admission process is pretty simple. CAT/XAT/NMAT scores are accepted which is followed by GD/PI process. The entire process takes place at the Hyderabad campus. Official website of college I used to refer to during the review.

The course curriculum is at par with the top-notch B Schools and it strictly follows the UGC guidelines. The general Teacher to Student ratio is 1:10. Faculties are well versed with the latest innovations in the field of management and deliver lectures accordingly. Exams are conducted semester wise with special emphasis on career development.

Internship opportunities are there from campus. But students can self generate as well from their own. Very few companies offer a stipend that comes to campus. Students get the chance to industry leaders and get hands-on experience through this SIP program.

Campus placement is Average. The average package lies between 7-8 LPA. Most of the IT companies visit the campus for final placements. It's very good for the students who opt for a Marketing profile. The highest package is offered by Tolaram i.e 50 lakhs.

The fees structure is well explained in the brochure. You need to pay the fees before the commencement of every semester. If there is a hike in fees, that will be informed beforehand. Scholarship and financial assistance are there for achievers. Mostly it's based on the entrance scores and Semester grades.

Life at the campus is lit. Most of the people are eager to visit campus and have a glimpse of the lush green field. The library is full of the latest journals, case studies, and the best books for management students. There is a huge scope for sports & co-curricular activities on campus ranging from basketball, cricket, swimming, Gymnasium, and many more. Like every B Schools, there are various clubs and societies to give students holistic learning beyond the daily textbooks.

Owing to the ongoing pandemic we are unable to enjoy the hostel life. But as far as the recommendation from seniors, hostel life is amazing. Meal quality is up to the standard and there are other stalls from where you can buy snacks.

The GD/PI process is quite smooth. You need to report to the campus beforehand and get your documentation done. After that, students will be divided across various panels and will be called for GD. After the GD is over, students need to wait for the PI. Mostly GD topics are from current affairs. So, I read the recent ongoings in the world of business, recent mergers, various marketing and financial articles. PI is mostly based on your past work experience or what you have done in your graduation. In my case, they asked me questions from my final year project.
