ICFAI BUSINESS SCHOOL, Hyderabad Review

The admission process is smooth. This college accepts CAT/XAT/NMAT scores. Usually, the GD/PI process takes place from Mid February till the first week of March. It is one of the decent B Schools in Hyderabad having a very good placement record. The college ensures that everyone gets placed. I used to refer College duniya to get information about this college.

Course structure is equal for all first year students. The basic agenda is to equip students with the basic knowledge of all subjects. Students get the chance to choose their specialization from 2nd year. All the faculty members are Ph.D holders and have huge industry experience. Exams are conducted on a semester basis. If you study regularly, getting a good grade is not difficult.

Internship opportunities are quite decent.But very few companies provide a stipend. Some students opt out if they self-generate. Projects offered during the internship open up the scope for learning. And if you perform well, you can even bag a PPO.

From the 3rd Semester onwards, students are eligible to sit for the campus placements. There are almost 250 companies that comes to campus with the varied profile. The highest package last year was offered by Tolaram Group which is 50 lakhs. The average package varies between 7-8 lakhs. Top 10% of the students gets a package of near about 10 lakhs.

The fee structure is mentioned there in the prospectus. The tuition fee is around 14 lakhs. You need to pay the Semester fees before the commencement of every Semester. Scholarships are available for those who have secured very good percentile. But since the intake is very high, only a few students get the chance to avail themselves of the scholarship opportunities.

Campus life is amazing at IBS Hyderabad. You will get the chance to participate in the inter-college events happening throughout the year. There are various committees like Placement Committee and Forum for Interactive interaction. Also, there are various Clubs and Cells domain-wise. So, joining anyone if they on the basis of your interest will help you to get additional and add brownie points to your CV. I personally am a part of the Techno Managerial Club of IBS Hyderabad known as DOT Club.

Hostel Life is pretty decent with both single and double sharing rooms available. The meal quality is very good and there are additional food stalls available for snacks. The registration process for hostels will start once you receive the joining letter.

The admission process is quite smooth. You need to appear for a GD round followed by a PI once you are selected. After thus GD & PI round, the final percentile comes combined with our entrance test score. On the basis of the percentile, a merit list is declared. You can prepare from various current affair topics and business news happened in recent times. Also, you need to be well versed with the subjects you had in your graduation.
