"FACTS OF BESC"

First of all, whenever we take admission somewhere we look after overall records of the institutions it may be schools or colleges. The main reason for choosing this college was that it was near my living place and the fees of the college were affordable to me and there is no compulsory need to have 75% attendance which was also beneficial for me as I was preparing for my CA because of which I was not able to attend my college on regular basis. The campus life of BESC is vibrant. Besides this, a lot of activities and seminar takes place in the college on regular basis. Before getting admission to this college I had applied online for this college from the college website based on my marks and there were free choices of choosing the session based on our preferences. The students are selected based on their class 12 marks and they are called by the college for the admission process after some days.

The reason for choosing B.com(Hons) was because it is a popular Undergraduate course among commerce students and also because it was helpful for my CA examination. The faculty of the college are very helpful. The professor is well qualified from well known college's. The professors are very kind and helpful. Their teaching way is also good. They try to clear all the doubts of the students. After the completion of every chapter, the teacher takes the test. One teacher is appointed to teach one chapter and for one subjects there are around 3-4 teacher's to teach the subject which is very good for us. The internal exams take place before the final examination. The internal marks are then added to the results. The internal area of 10 marks and the attendance carries 10 marks which makes a total of 20 marks.

There is no 100% placement in BESC only the students who get more than 80% marks gets the placement as there is tough competition in the college because of the huge number of students. The highest salary offered was 30 lakh per annum and the average salary offered was 15 lakh per annum. There is also some internship going in the college for all the students. Top companies coming to recruit are Axis Bank, HDFC, TCS, Airtel and many more. They recruit the students based on their performance. Almost 60% of students get the placement. My plans after getting the Degree is to give my 100% for the CA examinations as I was not able to give my full time to both the things i.e B.com(Hons) and CA.

The fees of BESC is neither expensive nor cheap. It is affordable. Fees for the 1st year is paid at one time which is around 50000 which also includes the admission fees. For the 2nd year, the fees are around 45000 And for the 3rd year, the fees is around 44000. Which makes a total of 1.5 lakh for the whole graduation period.

The campus life of BESC is very vibrant. Every day there is some activities or seminar going on in the college. The infrastructure of BESC is not so big. Umang is the annual fest of BESC which takes place in December. It takes place for 3 days. The library of our college is well maintained. The students can take a maximum of 3 books at a time with themselves. The books are needed to be reissued after every 1 month. All the books are provided in the library. The classroom is very big and it can accommodate around 60-70 students. All the classroom are provided with AC. There is CCTV in the classrooms. All the classroom are clean and well maintained. There is a lift in the college which is a very good thing about our college. The sports arena of the college is very good. Most of the students spend their time in the sports arena. All the sports equipment are provided in the sports arena.
