IBS - Review

The college is not that much big. The campus is small. The sports Complex is not present inside the college but the faculties and other things like ROI, library facilities etc. Is very good. The admission process was conducted on 23rd Feb. and basically it was a week process. I referred college dunia, MBA universe websites for searching the college.

I selected PGPM course and chose marketing because in IBS Mumbai marketing and finance is very good and they get good opportunity. The faculties are well qualified. Most of them had done their PhD and won various awards. They are from IIMs but few of them. The exam conducted on time. We have total 4 semester and 1 sip evaluation of 100 marks.

Yes the college gives many internship opportunities to the students. Many companies visit our college during the time of internship. But the thing is very few companies mainly the startup companies give stipend to the students which is based on the work that they give. Most of the companies for sales come. Whatever we have learn in our first year that same thing is been implemented while doing a internship.

From semester 3 our placement process starts. Many top companies like JP Morgan, Nestle ,Amul ,Aditya Birla comes in our college for placements they offer six lakh package which is the average and the highest package which was offered is 12 lakhs PA national and 15 lakhs PA International. 95% of the students get placed from our college .My plan after getting the degree is to work in corporate world.

The fees of the college is 80000. Every installment we have to pay 1,44,000 there are total of 5 installment that we have to pay. Which is for 4 semester and 1 sip. The college give scholarship which is included in the fees only. Max scholarship given is 1,00,000 and the student who get 10 CGPA will get and lowest is 1000 which is given to 7.5 LPA student.

Our college annual fest name is Konflux and many other clubs are there which organized few events occasionally. The clubs also bring some speaker from top universities like Harvard or IIM through which we get a clear idea about the market conditions. The classroom consists contains AC and projectors which is helpful for us to get a cool mind and get a clear understanding inside the classroom. Also there is a big playground where we can play sports and table tennis but the indoor games inside the college and outdoor games are not inside the college.

Yes the GP/PI was conducted on 23rd Feb. and it was in IBS Hyderabad. Every student has to go to IBS Hyderabad and give their exam. I referred many websites like MBA Universe except to learn and built my interpersonal skills and also knowledge. While GD/PI round we have been given topic on current affairs and questions like introduction family background hobbies GK questions also were asked.
