A revisit to my college

The college is widely known for the selection of students in their respective companies. The bad aspect of college is that its building is not in good condition or say in bad condition. The building is totally ruined except for some working places and lecture halls. First, we need to fill the form of Jharkhand combined entrance form which probably held in the month of May. Then you have to clear the exam which held in the month of June. If you clear the exam then we have to attend a counseling program in Ranchi which held after 1 month of the results of the exam where we have to choose which stream we want and then their respective college. After then in the month of August, we have to go to college and do their admission in college. The main reason to prefer this College is that it ranked no 1 in terms of placement and studies. Selection of college is done in counseling but I use a website which is jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in

I choose electrical engineering because it is the core branch in Today's time. Electrical needs everywhere, so electrical engineer is needed widely so I choose this over any branch. The faculty is good as it would be. A couple of faculty members are strict but most of them are good and ready to help. The students in college are fair. Overall the number of boys is slightly more than girls but the difference is not very large. The faculty is fully qualified and educated in their respective field. The provides the information and help if needed. The teaching method is slightly different. The teachers are very qualified and they did a great job in their respective field that they can easily teach us every lesson. The exams are slightly not according to time period but overall the exams are taken place in their respective times. And if you are attending the class properly and keep listening to the teachers then it is easy to pass the exam. Sometimes it became hard but not every time.

I did an internship in INDO DANISH TOOL ROOM (IDTR). Where I got to know new things such as PLC and SCADA which helps me in improving my skills. I Got to work as PLC operator in that company and I got to knew how the PLC works in different places and how PLC helps to do action very fast.

Placement is very good in my college. If you are eligible then you got placed in any company. If you are in 3rd year then you have eligible for placements. Many companies visited in our college like TATA STEEL, TATA POWER, JINDAL STEEL AND WORKS, MITTAL, CEAT, VIKAS GROUP and many more and they provide around 2.5L-3L for the work. The highest pack is about 5L which is given by L&T company. For placements in any company, students must have an overall percentage of 70%+ in their education period till now. My plan is to place in respective companies and aim for a government job.

The fee structure is dependent on your quota. If you are from the General category you have to pay 2040 for 1 year and if you are from OBC category then you have to pay 405 for the same admission and if you are from SC or ST you have to pay around 200 r for admission for 1 year. Next year you have to pay the same as the previous. There is a scholarship program for students properly known as ekalyan. In this scholarship program students have to give their details then the college verify it and then government officials again verify it and provide money as their documents. Campus selection is good in this college. Many companies came and recruit the best students. I personally got a job in TATA Power in my campus selection program.

Campus Life is very good. I meet different peoples different teachers and gain new knowledge. I joined in tech fest organized by Tata Steel but unfortunately got eliminate from that fest. It was only a 3-year course so you have 1 chance to participate in the tech fest. The library is heaven for students. The library is full of books. Every subject of this book is available and of the different author which provides to gain more knowledge. Every branch book is available and is in the bunch so that every student can access it. The classroom is very good. You can literally read books there. Besides study, we have to join a soft skill program organized by Tata strive for our college which teaches photography, videography, and many more extracurricular activities. Some students group is also run by group of studets which raises problem of students to faculty and keep finding solutions for the problem. One of the group is TSVP or takniki sikcha vidya parisad which helps student to resolve thier college related problem.

The hostel is very good in our college. There is a big room which consists of only four students with their separate bed, table, chair, desk, cupboard. The sanitation of hostels is also very good. In the hostel, there is a mess which provides three-time meal. The meal is different for seven days of the week. It consists of 3 days nonveg also. The hostel registration process is very easy. At a particular time the college put out a notice for allotment of the hostel after that you have to fulfill the document that the college demands and then after paying the hostel fee which is 1040 you have access to the hostel. It is very economical to live in a hostel rather than live in paying guest
