MNNIT ALLAHABAD is the first college to start a B.Tech program in computer science and engineering. You can get admission here on the basis of your JEE MAIN rank. The NIRF ranking of the college is 48 in engineering but the college worth more than that. One can keep the following points in mind while getting into the college: ?Placements at MNNIT are the biggest aspect to look at.In the tough year of 2020, CSE students got a placement of 96.42%(average package-18.02 LPA and highest package- 39.22lpa) while 97.84% IT students got placed(average package-17.22lpa and highest package-49lpa). ?Various Clubs like Computer Coding Club,Robotics Club,Aero Club,Literary Club,Rotaract Club add on to your skills and values. The courses are designed in a very scientific manner although some modifications in the course curriculum are required due to the need for practical knowledge. The college administration is working out into it and trying to modify the courses according to the NEP'20. My personal experience is that most of the teachers ask for a review of the course(pace and method of teaching). Most of the faculties are highly experienced with a few new ones who are also very good. There is a system of absolute grading in our college which makes it easier for a student to attain a good grade. The papers of the exam are of moderate level and one who has studied each concept can easily score a decent grade.

The college has a huge opportunity for an internship. Big tech giants to core companies give opportunities to the students for an intern.Amazon, Google, Microsoft, Salesforce are the bigger player here. For core branch-like civil there is less intern opportunity as few companies like L&T, Aditya Birla used to give intern for civil. For the rest of the branches, there are ample opportunities to grab. One can apply for a research intern in various iit's and get benefited. The T&P cell is always ready to provide support if you have the merit to show. One should not worry for internship opportunities in MNNIT.

The best thing about the college is its placements. For the year 2020 the maximum placement was of 42 LPA(IT),39.022 LPA(CSE and ECE),18 LPA (mechanical),17.3 LPA(chemical),17 LPA(civil),13.7(biotechnology),10 LPA(production) and so on.Amazon, Microsoft, Google, Oracle, Qualcomm are some of the big names visiting campus for recruitment as well as for internship. The training and placement (T&P) cell of the college is one of the best in northern India. The annual fee for students from 2019-20 onwards are as follows: Family income greater than 5 lakhs: 1,63,000 + 12000/sem(hostel fee)+15000/sem(mess charge) Family Income between 1 lakh and 5 lakhs: 99,666 +12000/sem(hostel fee)+15000/sem(mess charge) Family Income less than 1 lakh and SC/ST/PwD : 38000+ 12000/sem(hostel fee)+15000/sem(mess charge) Also at the time of admission, a one-time caution fee is being deposited which can be refunded when you leave the college(else you can donate it into alumni fund). There are scholarships under the government of India NSP and various state governments as per the eligibility of candidates. Several NGOs also provide scholarships for it and can be easily accessible from college websites. Moreover, the alumni of the college also help the needy students warm handedly.In the year 2020, the alumni association has provided a number of laptops for those who can't afford them.

Avishkar is the tech fest while Culrav is the cultural fest of the college.Freshers are welcomed by the fest named 'Swagat' while the final year students leave the college with the beautiful memories of 'Rukshat'.The social life is very beautiful in the campus which more dedicated fests organised y other clubs and departments. MNNIT have various clubs which imparts skills and values to your life.Computer Coding Club is the club with most footfalls with robotics and aero club accompanied by it.Enterpreneurship Club is dedicated for innovators and those with some brilliant ideas.Rotaract Club,Anokhi Pahel,Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat are the club's which help you to connect with needy people and give your bit to help them. The college has wide opportunities for sports and extracurricular activities with different dedicated clubs like media house mnnit, literary club,dramatics club,gnosis, and different sports club. Also, the college has a huge library with intranet connectivity.

There are dedicated hostels for each year having the name of eminent personalities. The hostels for first-year have triple sharing rooms but have decent space to accommodate and study. For the final year students, it is a single room that allows privacy for everyone. Each hostel has its own mess runner by a mess management committee comprising of warden and students which helps in a fir quality of food. Also, every student is provided his/her own table, chair, and lamp for study with WLAN.
