College review

Admissions are made on the basis of the CAT ratings, as well as a group discussion and a personal interview. The CAT score is given a weighted average of 85 percent. GD and PI each have a 7.5 percent weighting. In terms of return on investment, UBS is unrivaled. And it was for this reason that I chose this college, as well as its location in Chandigarh. Recruiters from the industry come to the college to meet with students. It also provides adequate visibility. Infrastructure is mediocre. In addition, the batch has less diversity.

The course content and exam structure are also excellent. You can learn about various research and projects, sports activities, and various modes of learning in the curriculum, as well as extras such as an external Training Placement programme to assist you in becoming a professional. They took students on an industrial tour as well

Internships include projects in brand analysis, distribution, and research, among other things. The stipend varies between 5000 and 50000 dollars. Finally, reports are written to highlight all of the activities completed during the internship as well as the skills learned.

In the third semester, students are eligible for placement. The campus is visited by companies such as Infosys, HDFC Bank, American Express, SBI, and others. During placement week, 80-90 percent of the batch is put. Consulting, distribution, and marketing profiles are available. The most expensive domestic package was 15-20 LPA, while the average package was 10-12 LPA.

The fee increase is minor, and the total cost of the course ranges from 80,000 to 100,000, depending on whether the hostel has chosen to participate. There isn't much of a need for financial aid, given the fees. Summer internships come with generous stipends, with some as high as $50,000.

UBS does not hold an annual or tech festival. However, the library has all of the necessary books and journals. The classroom amenities are adequate but not particularly impressive. While there are fewer sports events, there are many extracurricular activities. You may also plan and carry out such events on your own. UBS has several clubs, such as the Investment Club, Environment club, etc.

The majority of GD issues revolve around current events. Since I had no prior work experience, my interview questions were focused on my B.Com theoretical knowledge. Aside from GD and PI, the CAT score is taken into account. I used to learn more about current events and general knowledge for GD and PI. I also went over my B.Com subjects again for the interview.
