Remarks
The most important aspect of this college is the AACSB accreditation. Because of this it has received a good rank and the reach has enhanced. Admission process is quite straight forward. You need to appear for a GD/PI round after clearing the required cut-off. Apart that, merit list is declared. On the basis of the merit list, you will be allocated to various campus.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is same for all the 1st year students. They are trained with the basic management subjects and communication skills. Most important thing is the Case Study based learning approach which is followed in ICFAI to give the students a holistic approach towards management education. Exams are not that difficult if you study from Day One.
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities are very good. Most of the students gets internship from college. However, you have the option to arrange your own internships. Only a few students gets paid internship. But the learning scope is there.
Placement Experience
Placement is quite decent with average package ranging from 7-8 lakhs. Many companies like Cognizant, TCS, ITC, JP Morgan, IDBI, HDFC, etc are regular recruiters. Highest package is offered by Tolaram in Sales & Marketing domain.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees structure is mentioned in the prospectus. If there is a hike in fees it will be communicated in advance. There is fewer scope for scholarships or financial assistance. Only 5% students get the chance.
Campus Life
When you are in campus, you will get the chance to participate in various college events and fests. Also, there are various Clubs on the basis of different domains And you can join any of them on the basis of your interests. This will add brownie point to your CV.
Hostel Facilities
There are availability of both single and multiple sharing rooms. Official intimation will be given beforehand to book the seats before joining. Meal quality is decent and you will have access to food stalls for snacks.
Interview Experience
GD/PI topics are pretty decent and cover different aspects of current affairs such as Economics, Sports, Business News, Politics, etc. I prepared from Manorama Year book and also from the weekly journals available online.
