Remarks
The best aspect of NIT Delhi is its location as one can get lots of opportunities in Delhi. The main drawback point is it's a new NIT so it doesn't have a huge campus and facilities. The admission process was very easy and smooth after getting confirmation from Jossa I went with all the documents and it got done in 1/2 hour only. The main reason for preferring NIT Delhi was its location.
Course Curriculum Overview
I had an interest in Electrical and Electronics that's why I choose it. The faculty are very supportive. Because of less no of students, everyone knows each other and helps each other at every point. NIT Delhi has a good faculty ratio for each branch they have 10-15 Faculties and it's very convenient to take help from them. Every faculty is an assistant professor in NIT Delhi and a drawback but that never creates an issue as they try to resolve each and every problem.
Placement Experience
In the initial Final year, i.e 7th Semester students get eligible for campus placements. There are tons of companies such as Samsung, Tata, Microsoft, ZS, etc comes every year with decent packages. The highest till now is 46 lakh pa and the average is 10-15 lakh pa. Most of the profiles get selected are software development or Technical Consultant. I have a plan to get higher education after my graduation.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees are constant and they have 5-6 categories based on income and reservation. One can check details on the college website. There is no on-campus job but college provides lots of scholarship opportunities where one can apply.
Campus Life
NIT Delhi has 3 fests named Saptrang (The Cultural Fest), TerraTechnica (The Tech Fest), and Zeal (The sports fest). There are lots of clubs for each category with tons of opportunities in the College. There is Central Library in the college with lots of resources. The best part of NIT Delhi is its sports, We have daily practice in the evening for 2 hours with professional couches for 15+ sports which help in the development of students. There is an E-Cell also present in our college run by the student which helps in developing the entrepreneurs in you and help in building the startups.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facility is decent in NIT Delhi. The meal is not as good as expected but one can enjoy the hostel life at NITD very much. The registration process is pretty straight forward we have to fill a form which semester registration.
