Remarks

The college has an amazing atmosphere with great faculties. Every single corner of the campus inspires creativity in some way or the other. Valuable guidance provided by the teachers is the key to attain every single goal made.

Course Curriculum Overview

Amazing curriculum with ample practical knowledge and industry exposure. Great teachers and dean is the positive aspect. Faculties provide amazing interactive sessions to boost up the skills. Highly qualified teachers with one foot in education and the other in the market proved to be of immense help.

Class Size: 17Course Fees: INR 115000 per year

Internships Opportunities

I personally had my internship in Inatch, arcop, Delhi. They usually offer a stipend of 8-12k.for the fourth-year students. U can discuss the type of firm u wanna join with ur faculties, deanetc, they will help for getting u the same.

Placement Experience

Since it is a design college, there are no campus placements. U have to make ur own contacts to approach the firms and companies to get placed. Good point is that the faculties are highly involved in the market, so they help with contacts.

Fees and Financial Aid

We were the first batch. Nice and affordable fee structure with numerous opportunities for scholarships. Fees hike is not an issue to worry about. Go for it., nothing to worry about at all in terms of fees and it benefit.

Campus Life

Amazing atmosphere on the campus with a wide variety of students from all over India. Fest and functions are the part of the day-to-day activities with lots of opportunities to pursue one's hobby side by side. Exposure for sports is also provided on campus.

Hostel Facilities

Beautiful spacious and ventilated rooms, double and triple sharing. With all the basic needs and luxury in hostel. Exceptional quality food, like just what s hosteler can wish for. U just have to approach the warden for any query.

Hostel Fee: INR 115000 per year

Interview Experience

After qualifying for NATA, I faced an interview with the dean of architecture. Questions were according to the interest in architecture and current affairs regarding them. They were easy to answer for the one who has a passion for being an architect.

Reality Of DCRUST

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose to decide this course as it is a profit course with some creative thinking going on. The curriculum of the college does not prepare at all for the real world applications or further academic pursuits. The curriculum doesn't include what is latest in technology. For example we have few elective subject which we are not allowed to choose as the college does not have the faculty for those subjects and neither do they try to get the faculty for these subjects and say that you cannot choose this subject. The areas of improvement in course curriculum are a lot. The students teach better than teachers via their presentations. The teacher just sits idol in classes and give students a topic to give presentation and teach other kids. The exams are conducted semester wise which are not at all difficult. One just needs to go through previous year papers and he will pass with good marks. The internal marks are given by teachers on the basis of how much a teacher likes a student. the work you do does not matter at all for them.

On 23rd January, students of School of Architecture and Planning (SoAP) conducted their third SoAP day wherein the students of all three years (2014-2016 batch) exhibited their work. The event was inaugurated by our Honourable Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. D.K. Jha Sir. Deans, faculty members and students from all the Schools of the University attended the event. A soap carving competition was also organized for the students where in Dheeraj and Ishan of 2nd Year won the first and second prize respectively. The event was a great success and everyone appreciated and encouraged the students for their commendable work.
