REVIEW ABOUT MY COLLEGE

The entrance for admission to the vignan's lara institute of technology and science is through AP EAMCET and my admission is through the OC category. The main reason to join this college is placement, Companies may hire only a few students,and training may be provided for students regarding many situations. Admission is done on the basis of the candidate score in AP-EAMCET. After the entrance examinations, those who get selected in the merit list will be notified to appear for the counseling round. 70% of the total seats strictly on merit basis, 30% of seats filled through management quota, remaining 15% of the management quota who have secured an average minimum of 60% marks in the qualifying examination.

Course curriculum and exam structure were good and it is relevant to me.My course is computer science and engineering and the course is nice.I have chosen this course because to improve my coding skills, and I'm very interested on coding. About faculty, they are very friendly with the students and they are highly qualified and knowledgeable.They are very good and professional professors,each and every faculty member can have 5 years of experience. Teachers treat students like their children,and they encourage students in any activity. They'll clarify our doubts at any time. Any kind of material we have to collect from the library. The faculty teaching method is awesome.For every 1 month, they'll conduct assignments, and for every 3 months, they will conduct mid examinations after 6 months semester examinations were conducted. Semester examinations are not held in self-center.Our college is under JNTUK, a little more difficult to pass semester examinations, because all students don't get the same question paper.

There are lot more internship programs are done in our college. They will conduct a mini projects in every 1 year itself and they will provide every kind of guideline for the students about any kind of internship, they will check our ranks in every internship.

The placements in our college is too a good many multinational companies are visiting our college like INFOSYS, WIPRO, TCS, CAPGEMINI, AMAZON, GOOGLE, MICROSOFT.Till now so many students are selected for the campus interviews. From the third year onwards students become eligible for campus placements. Almost 70% of the students are placed from our college with a salary package of highest salary package offered is upto 7.0 LPA and the lowest salary package is upto 2.4 LPA and the average is upto 3.6 LPA. My plan is after getting the degree,i want to study higher studies while doing the job.

students who were admitted through EAMCET rank a fee of 3600 need to be paid per annum. Those who admitted through management a fee of 92000 need to be paid per annum this is only for Computer Science and Engineering students, and for Electronics and Communications Engineering students 84000 need to be paid. Not everyone has the same fee payment. Each branch has its own set of fee payments.The scholarship is available for SC,ST,BC and other casts. After the completion of 3rd year, 1st-semester college will conduct campus drives through which students can be placed.

Our college is active in social media,it has a VLITS group in Facebook and Instagram. They conduct freshers day for new batch every year, engineers day, annual function, Independence day, Republic day, srujanankura is a project expo it will be conducted 5 days continuously, they conduct a fest called VIGNA MAHOTSAVAM, it will be conducted 7 days continuously. Recently our college has conducted a hackathon program,it is 24 hours project done by students under HOD, principal, and staff members. They used to celebrate small festivals to let them know about the culture and greatness of our nation .Our college students are very active in sports but college authorities don't give much priority to sports. Our college has a huge library which contains a lot of books,it is very useful to students those who want to acquire more knowledge and to get prepared for competitive examinations.

Our college hostel is very nice the annual fee of college hostel is very higher than the other hostels even though students are supposed to join in college hostel. College hostel rooms are very clean and they are very big but students are less so, the students can study peacefully, hostel environment is completely good and it has high-level security and they provide laundry. Food is very nutritious and everyone likes it . Students can feel very secure when they are in a college hostel. We can book the room in advance with fee payment.

There is a Group discussion round for the admission process at IIMV. The PI round alone has a 25% weightage on the overall performance of the candidate. I am a second-year student so I did not eligible for placements, I have no idea about Interview questions. I learned about GD topics from seniors, Some of the topics of GD are (How to create more jobs in rural areas?, Work from home - pros & cons, etc...). Exams are conducted at regular intervals like 3 assignments for 1st mid-term and 2 assignments for the second mid-term, and one end semester. Vignan's Lara institute of technology and science is under JNTUK, a little more difficult to pass end examinations. JNTUK certificate is very useful for further life.
