The most important aspect of the college is the industry-institute Linkage and the placements. The bad aspect is that it is located at the outskirts of the city. Students need to clear the cut-off percentile. Upon clearing the cut-off percentile, students are called for GD/PI sessions.
Course Curriculum Overview
The entire course structure for the 1st year MBA students is the same. The major agenda is to introduce the budding managers to the basics of each and every management aspect like Marketing, Finance, HR, and Operations. Faculties are all Ph.D holders and most of them have good industry experience. Exams are conducted on a semester basis and if you study thoroughly you can ace the examination with flying colors.
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities are there for students. Many companies come from Summer Internship Program. Only a few provide stipends on the basis of your performance. However, you have the option to arrange the internships on your own.
Placement Experience
Placement is decent in IBS Hyderabad. Most of the regular recruiters are banks, IT consultancies, audit firms, etc. The average placement is 7-8 lakhs. The highest package is offered by Zenoti. Every student gets placement from the campus.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is mentioned in the brochure. If there is a hike in fee structure, it will be informed well in advance. Scholarship opportunities are there for those who have an excellent academic record.
Campus Life
Students love to visit this green campus. There are ample opportunities for sports and extracurricular activities. You will be introduced to various clubs on the basis of different domains. So, you can join any of them on the basis of your interests. Various inter-college festivals and fests will take place where students get the opportunity to participate.
Hostel Facilities
This 2 year MBA program is residential. Both twin and single sharing rooms are available for students. Mess facility is available and meals are provided three times a day which includes breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Interview Experience
GD/PI process is the final screening process to secure your seat at IBS Hyderabad. Most of the GD topics are from Current Affairs. PI will comprise of questions from. your educational background, recent business news, and work experience if any.
