Remarks

Firstly this college is suggested by my senior that is also a student of Lucknow Christian college. This college is ranked 2 in Lucknow city ranking by India today. I have taken admission on 3 July 2018 via my graduation merit basis. The admission process is very fast and transparent. I choose the college due to its infrastructure, largest library and best teaching facility. This college also provides NCC, NSS services. The sports infrastructure of the college is very good.

Course Curriculum Overview

Research work and my career in research, scientist field in chemistry. In the chemistry, department total of 38 students taken admission to my batch. In the department approx 10 associate professors, 2 professors and 5 lab assistants had. There is a total of 4 chemistry research and practical labs. And 2 lectutre classes. The teaching method is very professional and also digital. The teacher mainly focused on quantitative practical classes, theoretical concepts and other presentation skills. The exam is held semester-wise. In the semester there are practical exam and theoretical exams. The practical exam must be passed by every student. Their also some internal exams which is taken, faculty teacher.

The placement section is not very good in the college, actually. They provide some internships. And they help us to prepare for placement sessions as how to give interviews and all. If you are a student of the college and have that spark then the placement cell takes

College fees are approximately 34000/ annually. There is not any fees hike policy. And good scholarship is provided by the Uttar Pradesh government. College also provides 100 economically weakened student to fees concession.

Campus Life

The college celebrated the annual fest every year in February. They also conduct a departmental fest. Chemistry department fest "RESONANCE" conducted. the classroom is not properly furnished. Labs are good.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel name is C. L. Bare hostel. The hostel provides a single occupancy, double occupancy, and also triple occupancy. I had preferred single occupancy and room no. is 43. meal quality is good and menu is changed day by day. The registration process charge is rs100.

Hostel Fee: INR 47000 per year

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course was quite comprehensive and relevant. They covered all the fields of life sciences in depth- molecular biology, recombinant DNA technology (RDT), microbiology, biostatistics, instrumentation, and immunology, among others. The combination of both foundational and applied topics was the whole reason I chose the course at SVSU. In terms of preparationfor the real world applications, the curriculum does a great job in building clarity and founding strong concepts. For students aiming to prepare for GATE, NET, and higher research projects to delve into, the syllabus provides a strong foundation. Regarding improvements, the lab work could be more one-on-one rather than a bulk implementation, and more hands-on experience needs to be added to the course in comparison to the theoretical knowledge. Speaking of the examination pattern, it works in semesters, with the first one occurring in December, then around April, and the last one around June-July. Other than that, there are internal tests held bimonthly and project submissions before the examination session.
