ABESEC AS A WHOLE

I choose to attend this college because first of all, it was among the top private colleges. It has the best results in terms of academic. It was on the list of top 10 aktu colleges, so I filled it in my counselling process. I was allotted this college by aktu counselling process in my last round this was the major reason for choosing this college over other colleges. ABESEC is really close to Delhi NCR so it increased the chances of campus placement at a good package. Also, ABESEC gives 100% placement almost every year. Students get placed in very good companies like amazon etc, at good packages depending upon the skill of the student. These were the major reasons for choosing ABESEC over other colleges.

Course curriculum here is majorly the syllabus provided by aktu and the college sticks to it. Apart from the syllabus which is majorly all about theoretical knowledge and very little exposure to practical knowledge, the college also provides training in different fields like programming languages like python, DBMS as an extra part of the curriculum. The faculty here is very helpful and is really concerned about the fact that the students study the syllabus and the subject really well. Faculty try their best that the students score well. The timely conduct class test then sessional and pre University exams are conducted before the external exams.

College provides internship opportunities details to the students in which the companies which want to hire an intern to take their own skill test and select students for the internship. College does not help a lot it only plays a role in giving information and do not help any further. College gives good exposure for startup and innovation etc.

Placements start majorly from the 4th year but students get internship opportunities in the 3rd year itself. Many reputed companies visit the campus for placement drive. Amazon is a major company or the target company of many students here because it provides really good packages every year. Apart from Amazon, there are many companies which provide decent package like Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, etc. The highest package this year was 28 LPA which only one student got apart from that some students got placed at package at 10+ LPA and some from them 8-10 LPA apart from them every student gets placed at least at 4 LPA and they have 100% placement.

They are really particular about the fees they do not provide any scholarship at the college level, the only source of scholarship is the UP government scholarship scheme which is provided to really financially weak section, so middle class people will never get any scholarship. They even did not give any discount in college or hostel fees in the pandemic. You can request to give the fees in instalments that to will be given if you have a proper reason. The campus provides details about the internship or job opportunities, in which students can apply and if he/she is skilled enough may get selected and get the stipend. But apart from this, no campus job with a stipend is given by the college

Campus life is average especially for girls because the time for the hostel is 6 pm and the college itself is till 4:30 pm so one cannot really enjoy campus life that well. But for boys, it's fine because they have time for the hostel at 9 pm. Hostels have separate basketball, badminton courts, indoor games, etc so one can play if they want. College also has teams for every sport and one gets to participate in inter college competitions being held. Syllabus books are given every semester from the college. They have the library and have a decent collection of books but you can't think of going to the library and study there every day if you live in a girls hostel because of in time. The college has different clubs for all sort of activities like cultural club including all sort of dance, singing activities, we have different technical clubs, We have drama clubs and these clubs organise different events at different times so one can participate and they also recruit new members in each club.

Rooms are nice and accommodation is also good they have single, double and triple seater rooms which are a given based on your academic performance every year ( apart from the first year). First year rooms are allotted on a first come first serve basis. Food is also good and they have a set menu for every day. The hostel also has a net facility but the net doesn't that work well in girls hostel. Hostel in time is a major concern there because the in time in girls hostel is 6 pm after that you are not allowed to go out of the hostel. One major issue is water quality, they have really bad quality of water in the entire campus and the hostel as well. The water quality is really bad and will not be improved even after your continuous complaints. They even do not provide any service that students could buy good quality water in the hostel even after requesting so many times. Any going out and buying water on an everyday basis and then bringing it to the hostel is practically impossible.
