From a second year student- Review

College Faculty review was good and ranking was also good in AKTU Final Rankings. Admission is through UPSEE as well as Direct, I got admission through UPSEE. It seemed better under my rank, as it has better faculty and previous track records. www.abes.ac.in

I had interest in computer from a very early age, and after getting exposed to coding and how a software is designed that runs the whole computer and the whole digital world amazed me, so I chose this course. Faculty Student ratio is 1:30. Most of them have PhDs in respective fields, and teaching method is decent. Exams : We almost have exams in every 2 weeks, at least in the first year. And level of Exam was little bit harder than the University Exams.

Companies like Infosys HCL and TCS offered Internships to students to second year and 3rd years. Projects are given to final year students but other are free to make one and if they have some good idea then college will invest in their ideas for Entrepreneurship programme.

Students become eligible for interviews from 3rd year, but even 1st year students can sit in interviews for Internships. Companies visited like Infosys, TCS, Byjus and others. Lowest package in campus was around 3.5 lakhs/annum, and Highest was 12lakhs/annum. And off campus highest was 28lakhs/annum. More than 90% students got at least 1 offer. I'll apply in campus as well as off campus jobs.

As it is a private college , Fees is obviously higher than Government colleges, and it charges a bit extra than other colleges in the same area like NCR. We can apply for UP Government Scholarship. I've not cleared for Internship yet so can't say anything about it, but Placement records are good, with average salary of 4.25 lakh/annum.

Annual Fest is Genero, which is a 3 day fest in which technical and non technical events are organized. It is conducted usually in October month, but it's student funded so you have to pay to participate in different events and even to get entry in college during events. And price is usually 800-1000. Books are available in library. Classroom are well equipped with Projectors and Green Board. Every room is Air conditioned. There are various clubs such as Literary club, Drama Club, Technical clubs of CSE/IT/ECE dept.
