Remarks
This a college which has secured the 2nd place in rankings of bachelor's degree in commerce for the past several years and the teaching faculty is extraordinary which helps students enhance knowledge and gather learning in a far better manner than other colleges. It also has a flexible College timing in the morning which helps students to cope up with other activities in the day. It also requires high results to get an admit which makes the class a better one and meritorious.
Course Curriculum Overview
Quite good. Exams are tough as compared to other colleges. The marking scheme is comparatively quite difficult in this college. The good students are able to score in between 6-6.5 SGPA. But in the end, college reputation plays a great role which helps to enhance chances of placements in future.
Placement Experience
I've personally not faced the placement cell department but had heard that there are quite good placements with a salary of 2-3 LPA. It is quite high for a B.Com graduate these days according to me. But since the majority of the students persue professional courses so they do not sit for placements. So, to be precise the placement is quite according to my knowledge.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees structure is quite low as compared to colleges in Kolkata. The fees are not at all humongous for a bachelor's degree in India. Financial assistance is provided to students with low-income earnings and is also helped in various other ways. The cost of studying is as low as Rs 1,50,000 in 3 years.
Campus Life
The campus is sufficiently large and is spacious for lots of activities. It has a huge playground to play and also has lots of social clubs to participate and grow your skills and also helps to be social and network and know new people in the college.
