Review from a Student for a Student

The faculty in this college is better in comparison to other colleges located here in Jabalpur.This college focus had mostly positive reviews as per my relatives and this was also a big reason for me to choose this college. Many of my relatives have also attended this college and got good jobs and placement in past, that's why I chose this college.Reputation of this college is good with good students to back them,this was also a reason to choose this college. The admission process consists of counseling procedures completes in various rounds as per Dept. of Technical Education, Govt. of MP. Bad aspect of this college is less practical done, teachers lack clear understanding and fail to explain clearly, library faculty not that good.

I was always fascinated by how electricity is generated, how it travels to our home through overhead conductors, the transformer also caught my imagination and I wondered what they are for.In short, I chose this program as I had an interest in this field. Faculty-student ratio is healthy here,it is approximately one teacher in five students 3) Most faculty of my department have M.Tech, PhD, M.E or are in process of completing it. Their teaching method usually involves teaching mostly the theory aspect of the subject and later going through numerical ,but not enough numerical are covered and those covered have little importance in competitive exams like GATE. Teaching is usually focused on passing RGPV exams and I think this should change, more inclusion of practical knowledge and trips to industries is a must for the technical field so this should be done more often Exams were timely held before covid, but now the schedule has been affected. Exams are average and most students can pass easily .

1)Cisco, Aicte and NASSCOM offers internship with a stipend and offers certificate at the end of the internship. 2)Design a secure network for their institution on the packet tracer simulation tool. 3)Coding internships are mainly provided than internships provided branch-wise. 4) electrical-specific internship with a stipend is not available.

1)From the 6th semester onwards students become eligible for campus placements. 2)Companies like CISCO, TCS, MAHINDRA,SUZLON, PERSISTENCE but placement percentage is low around 49 %.(around 10 companies visit) 3)Highest package is around 2.6 LPA and the average salary is 2 LPA. 4)My plans are of doing M.Tech and doing software-related projects and some business is also in my mind.

Fees for my department are 52,000 yearly and 26,000 half-yearly .Fees are paid in two installments of 26,000 at the start of the semester ,we have two semesters yearly. Fees hike don't happen,fees are fixed at the time of admission and remain the same throughout the completion of the program, the only hike that can occur is in college services like college buses. It was 12,000yearly a year ago now it is 13000 yearly. Scholarship available here is a scholarship for the single girl child, scholarship for students who score at least 80% in 12th exams ,scholarship for ST\SC and OBC students, and scholarship for students who come in merit in RGPV exams.The campus has not yet happened so I can't tell you about jobs and salary .

1)Annual fest named Gyanotsav is held around February, it is a week-long event comprising of technical and nontechnical events concluded with the cultural night. 2)B. Tech EE books consist of 750 titles of books, the number of books 5020, hard copy journals printed 12 and E journals 275. 3) Classroom is well lit, with some classrooms with air conditioners and fans, smartboard is also present in classes but mainly blackboard is used. 4)Sports like cricket, football and basketball are organized in sports fest. 5)Curricular activities like Cyclothon, candle march for 44 brave Crpf Jawan martyred, Holi celebration, Gyan Ganga green club, New year, and Christmas Juno. 6)social groups and clubs: technical clubs like TCS CampCorp club, foxogyan, and IIT Bombay remote center club; Hobby clubs like fashion club, photography club, language club, sports club, cultural club and free help and charity club.
