Remarks

So basically my main objective to select this college was that it was easy to get admission in IPU than Du because it runs on the common entrance test basis which is quite easy to pass and also to score well and good. Whereas DU has only limited seats for this (BAJMC) program from which some percentage are also reserved for Delhi Students only. IPU takes an entrance test acc to which they provide overall rank and admission is done on the basis of rank only which is good. After the result being declared, there is a process of getting your college which is known as online counseling which includes several rounds acc to seats available. After all the rounds there is one sliding round for those who did not get admission in any of the rounds and the last one is on the spot admission round in which students get admission through open seats which were left vacant. After all the counseling process, Students need to submit their annual fees which are 80000 for BAJMC from Tecnia.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Starting from the first, I applied for the course as I was very much interested in the journalism field and this is the course that provides me with every single bit of journalism and mass communication. The faculty is very supportive and friendly at Tecnia. They are well qualified and always ready to help. The teaching method is also very good, neither too fast nor too slow. Exams were also scheduled well according to dates and were easy to pass for an average student. You do not need to study day and night to pass this course.

Internships Opportunities

4

Yes, Tecnia provides a lot of internships with and without stipends based on company to company. They update every student on their mail whenever there comes an internship that is suitable for them. You can apply online and offline both for the internship. Various private and govt. firms were available to provide you with a better internship program.

Placement Experience

4.5

Placement reviews were also good about tecnia as it stands on 3rd Rank in top colleges for BAJMC in IPU DELHI. There is a special Training and Placement Cell for the college students which keeps on updating them with the vacancies and opportunities in any company on their email from time to time. Also, there were good companies during placements in the college where students can get a well and good plan.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees were quite balanced over a period of three years of this course which was 80000 for one year and same goes for the second and third year too. However, there was no fee hike during the course, and was as promised before. Comparing to some big private Colleges which charge you 4-5 lakhs for the complete course, Tecnia at 2.4 lakhs is quite affordable and impressive. Scholarships were also there for needy students where they have to submit some of their documents and personal information after which they can avail the benefits of the scholarship.

Campus Life

5

There is various annual fest according to different courses in the same college. For the BAJMC department, there is a big cultural fest called VARCHASVA which is being conducted every year in October month. The crowd at the fest was also good. Students from different colleges were also given the opportunity to take part in the competitions held in the fest. Books and journals are in a large number available at the library. Classrooms were well furnished and every classroom contains AC. The annual sports meet was also there for various activities. Acting and drama group named MRIDANG was there to facilitate students with the best experience of their life.

The placement cell of our college is functional and active. The chances depend on the course that you have opted for. The placements are really good for commerce, economics, Maths, Stats but for the other department's students it might be a bit challenging to find a company of their domain. The students become eligible to sit in placement from 5th semester. The companies that visit my college are Godrej, BCG, McKinsey, Nation with Namo, Blackstone, Accenture, KPMG, EY, citibank, microsoft and Amazon etc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate my course four out of five because in journalism is a field where people are not about so much. The main stream media does not show the real problems and challengs of the country. They live in a bubble of their own. Many of the times they provide miss information to the people which hurts the hearts of the people. They do not cover multiple aspects of media. The exams in the daj is not so hard you can easily pass it by just 4 to 5 days of preparation.
