Vivek Kumar Singh's Review On GNIOT Group Of Institutions - [GNIOT], Greater Noida

I have mentioned what i felt about GNIOT that looks bad to me. Some what management team is careless but they work if pointed. Overall i would say it very well college to be in if you choose to be in any one of the private colleges with these level. Its really a good place to be with friends and education.

It was the UPSEE (Uttar Pardesh State Entrance Exam) through which i got my way in Greater Noida Institute Of Technology. I got very average marks and surprisingly a 4 digit rank in UPSEE.I went on to many people for college counselling , which college i should prefer at that level of rank. At last using my own intelligence and efforts i got this college in UPSEE counselling.

Our college follows the AKTU (Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University) formerly known as Uttar Pardesh Technical University (UPTU) syllabus strictly. AKTU is very strict with the syllabus and strongly focuses on 4 semester of Class work and 4 semester of practical work(which too includes class work to some extent).Electives are highly industry oriented and give a strong very good foundation for having masters in those subjects.

Very sorry to say u this that until this time there is no such internship provided in my college. But somewhat 4 or 5 years ago there used to be internship being provided for pre-final year students. But they, GNIOT does play a good role for the placements; they are taking all those possible efforts for their final year student placement.

GNIOT provides a vibrant culture with the help of GNIOT technical and cultural committee. We have technical competition once in a year with Annual Fest. Our college time to time held cultural events and festivals.Usually these are organised by us and sponsored by college management team. Most of the guys participate in these cultural and festivals. On annual fest we also used to have a special Celebrity on the stage floor.

Really if we look at fees it surprises us all. It seems quite expensive but as we compare to other private colleges like G L Bajaj and Galgotias truth becomes clear. I would say it's feasible when it comes with other private colleges, rather as expensive.

Our college has tied up with near by bank office of SYNDICATE BANK which provides us loans (only educational) easily. And most of the student are being benefited by the state scholarship mostly UP and Bihar, Uttar Pardesh Samaj Kalyan Vibhag and Bihar Samaj Kalyan Vibhag, respectively.

Campus life a lot more interesting with our friend groups and some seniors who are really friendly. We got different committee to held extracurricular activities and sports like cricket, tech fest competition and all those stuffs.

We have a hostel facility with fees of about 90K per annum with varieties of accommodation 2 seater , 3 seater with AC and NON AC. They charge as per the accommodation. Messing in starting of the session is really appreciable but as per the time goes on they reduce their quality as these people are on tender based kept by management. So if i would have to rate hosted and messing i would rate 9 and 7 respectively.

We have a newly built online social network of alumni known as VALUMNI. It's just a new one so truely speaking there is not much big alumni network. But this goona get possible those coming years as valumi network is growing day by day.

Now coming to exam structure , I would say that the exam pattern is organised in very standard way. The university always takes care of their student , they make the structure very convenient for us. Labs are given with appropriate time. So i won't think that it very hectic and also to say not very chilling out. But a good composition of both.

Let me say truly and very frankly the faculty in the college are very open in nature and some are very high educated and experienced in their departments.All of the faculty are at least having masters degree in their subjects and most of the have Ph.D degree too.
