Conservative college with more culture and value-focused. But no much exposure. They don’t encourage much to explore out of the college and visit other colleges. There is quality staff in few departments, but in some departments, I feel like there is no qualified staff!! And also they don’t allow us to take responsibility and space for creativity and energy!
Course Curriculum Overview
I love wandering and traveling a lot. So I thought tourism matches my course, so for the life of travel, I chose Tourism. Faculties are good, but few I feel they don’t have deep knowledge on the subject. But every staff encourages us so well. Term exams were conducted timely and the difficulty level was moderate.
Internships Opportunities
Our department always encouraged us to join internships as many as possible. We get internships from top travel companies in the town. Usually, we don’t get a stipend, very rarely we get depending on the companies. We get hands-on experience in the industry.
Placement Experience
From their last semester, students become eligible for placement. I didn’t visit any companies since I had other plans. Usually, we get from 10k to 30k. From 60% percentage, we get placement. After degree, I started working with my family business.
Fees and Financial Aid
Very affordable compared to other courses. Per semester costs around 6k to 10k. Since I didn’t apply for a scholarship or job, I don’t know about it. So I don’t have any idea about it. But I attended few internships, where I got a stipend up to 7k.
Campus Life
Yes, every year we have an annual fest known as Avegha!! One of the most fun parts of the year! We have thousands of books in our library related to all our departments. We have clubs in every department.
