Remarks
For getting admission into NMIMS, one has to give NMAT by GMAC. The cutoff for NMIMS Bangalore ranges from 190-205 in the exam as an overall score. The sectional cutoff is different for all the sections. After securing the desired marks, a group discussion is organized where we were given a case study. The process ends with the personal interview and after a month the results are declared on the portal.
Course Curriculum Overview
The term exams in NMIMS Bangalore involve midterms and end terms. The midterms are organized with the help of presentation submissions and end terms include subjective papers. The faculty to student ratio is 1:15. Most of the faculties have completed their PhD from renowned institutes and have great industry exposure.
Internships Opportunities
The companies come on campus for hiring students for summer internships. It involves brands like Dell, Crisil, VMWare and startups as well. The stipend varies from company to company. The roles include credit underwriting, business development and people handling as well.
Placement Experience
The students become eligible for final placements after the trimester fourth. The highest package was 16 lakhs while the average lies at 10 lakhs. Renowned companies like Dell, Crisil, Accenture and many more visit our campus. Around 10% of the batch are offered pre-placement offers after securing internships after the first year.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees hike happens around 5-10 % every year depending on the situation and discussions amongst the college management. There is no scholarship offered, and around 70% of the students pay the fees with the help of educational loans.
Campus Life
The annual fest is organized by the events committee in the month of October-November. The fest is for 3 days where the last day has the star night. There are many clubs and committees depending upon the interests of the student and their alignment.
Interview Experience
Preparing for group discussions involves speaking your points clearly and respecting when the other person is speaking. My case study involved topics of how the young generation in India is facing depression and dwelve their time into technology the whole day. The interview revolved around the past experience you have and the projects you have done in your under graduation.

NMIMS Bangalore accepts NMAT for admission to its MBA program. If you have score 204 in NMAT you will be able to meet the cut-off required for admission. You can submit your application online and participate in the group discussion and personal interview conducted by the institute.
