Remarks
On the basis of my PCM aggregates in 12th and my jee rank, I thought this college is a good option for me. As this is a government college, the fees per annum are very nominal. Also, there are various college societies here where a student can develop his/her skills in all areas. But the placements provided by the college are not that good with an average of 3.5 lakhs...I got my online admission through mpdte counselling on 14/10/2020. I also looked for my college on shikha.com
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose ECE because it has the qualities of both software and hardware so it was a good option for me. Mostly the faculties are good and are able to make students explain in this time of online teaching. I would not say that the faculties are highly qualified but their teaching method is good and engaging. As I am from the 2020 batch thus the course as well as the exams are conducted at a higher pace and as these exams are conducted online, many of which are open book, one can easily pass the exam.
Placement Experience
College placement is not that good with an average package of 3.5 lakhs per annum. TCS is the company wherein many of the students get placed in. Students become eligible for placement from 3rd year. The highest package reaches almost 5 lakh that's why various students sit for off campus placements. I am planning for a start up after completion of my course.
Fees and Financial Aid
The annual fees of college are 32k (without scholarship) but there are various scholarships one can avail of including MMVY, Post Matric, etc. where a student can easily deduce his annual fee. As I am from 1st year I cannot avail for the job.
Campus Life
Uit - Rgpv has a huge campus of about 241.14 acres. Sports facility is also good as it gets involved in several sporting events across various colleges. College also conducts several events and also hosts TedxTalks alternate year. It also has a huge library where you can mostly find the book of your choice. There is also a skill development society named Asper which is run by students for developing the skillset of other students in various directions. Classrooms are also nicely built and 1st year students are seated in AC affiliated Classrooms.
