Brief description of pursuing physics hons in Bankura Sammilani College

I prefered this college as this college situated in my locality, everyone has a good perspective about this college. The admission process is simple. You just have to visit the official site of Bankura Sammilani College after your 12th board exam, and then you have to fill up a form. Then the merit lists are gonna announced. if you have good marks then you will be selected on those merit lists no doubt.

I'm currently pursuing honours in physics. When I was in my 12th, I really like the concepts of physics and the physics related maths were so nice to try out and solve. This subject is not only my favourite subject but it is my dream now. That's why I'd chosen to take physics in my college journey. There are lots of students who are currently on the same page as I am. They all love physics. And that's why there is a decent amount of student all over our university. We are bound by a semester type exams schedule, so we have to give end-semester exams after every six months. They are a little harder to surpass because you have to complete a lot of papers and a huge syllabus every six months. But good guidance would help you to overcome any situation.

There is no campus placement at my college. As I am a physics Hons student, my main goal after completing honours is to clear the JAM exam so that I'll get a chance to join the IITs around our country. There are a lot of more competitive exams too like JEST, IISER, BHU etc. All of them are my goal to achieve.

The fess is to be given at every year. That means you have to pay at every odd(1st, 3rd, 5th) semester and the fees are below 5000 per year. I am getting an SVMCM scholarship every year along with National Scholarship, and these two scholarships help me a lot to avoid a financial crisis. On the other hand, the price of books is @700 rs on average.

Every year in the month of September our college organises a freshers party to accept our new brothers and sisters who have taken admission in 1st sem that year. Annual sports have also been organised in the month of February. If I jump to the library, there are lots of books. Literally speaking, I have never disappointed whenever I go to our library for any book.
