Remarks

First of all it is located in the Himalayan regions , it provides all the necessities and clean environment to the students, the placement is very good, u will feel the homely atmosphere here in university, for the hostel students they provide hygienic food in the mess, there are small cafes in between the university, all the professors are well educated and very helpful in any of a situations

Course Curriculum Overview

There is 50 min time limit for the exams, if we study hard there is no possibility of failing but the exam structure is from the syllabus and it was structured in a very easy way so that no one can fail.

As i am a hotel management student, i know about our good internship prospects like many 7 star properties came here in university for the selection of a students. 7-star properties like THE TAJ, THE LEELA, OBEROI, RADISSON, HYATT , and many others.

Placement Experience

For the final year, students became eligible for the placements, bestest and higher rankings companies do come and provide great placements to the students. Taj, Oberoi, Leela, lemon tree, Radisson, reliance, airtel, nestle and many other big companies came to visit the university. 80 - 90 % of students get the placement for sure .

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are not that much high you can also pay in an installment way , for the different types of the department there is different fees structure there is also a sprint program happened in every semester for the personal development and there is 100% placement from the campus.

Campus Life

There is a very big library so that students can go & learn what they want to they can pick any of a book . There is also personal development courses like a sprint, moksh and many others. There are any clubs, like swachhh bharat club , cancer survivors etc.

Hostel Facilities

There are two types of categories in the hostel rooms, single tier and double tier one can choose as per his or her own choices and budgets. Hostelers are provided a very good quality food with a cyclic menu. There is also options of pg accommodation near University.

From 5 semester students are eligible to sit in the placement and after 6 semester they have to join the company in which they are selected There are so many hotels chain and relatils company are come in our college like hyatt group , oberoi group, taj group, itc group, pride group, welcome group, accour group and other retailes chain like Pyramid and many more Highest package that is given is 11 lakhs that is given by pyramid group that is retail group and the average is 3-4 lakhs that's is given by Hyatt and taj Basically there is no criteria to sit in placement but your all back should be clear and atleast you have a percentage of 4 cgpa should be happen that was a minimum criteria My plan is to crack management training program in big and international brand and join the international group like Oberoi, Taj, Hyatt and any other

The college is good in terms of placement teachers will call your family if you do not sit in the placements that's good around 30 % of students gets MT and others can easily get the jobs if you are still interested in this field no one likes to be sitted in placement after the intership so it also gets easy for you to get the placements easily as competition gets much lower

I believe their is no difficulty in exams 3 hours is more then enough. And before final exams their is college test which is conducted batch wise. Pros and cons for taking admission in ihm shimla

Placement Experience:

Semester 5 year 3 students are eligible for college placement it's upto students if they want self or college placement I would suggest you to take college placement. Sit for every company. For this year highest package was 12 l.per annum and lowest was 4 .our college help the student to be placed. Retail company also comes including hotels like the oberoi, taj,Leelaand for retail bira 91, Calvin Klein etc and for international ADNH COMPASS has contacted ihm Shimla.

Remarks:

APG Shimla University is located in the lap of mountains providing a peaceful environment for students. Infrastructure of the university is nice providing sports facilities, e-library were students can read books online as the university provides Wi-Fi facilities as well. Faculty members are well-qualified and help students if they face any problem with the subjects.

I think in the matter of the view it, it is far better than the universities, they have really good view and the society is quite clean. The nature of the outside of the university is very nice.
