Remarks

First of all, I'd like to start by saying that I mainly chose this college because it is the best private college for pursuing B.Tech in Noida. The environment of the campus is good and the faculty members are also very friendly. But my college does not indulge much in inter college activities, so the atmosphere is limited for some students. Besides that, in terms of placement, it has done really well in last couple of years. I had to give the UPSEE exam to get admission in JSS, Noida. After the exam results, I went to counselling with my rank to confirm my admission and fill out the forms and other formalities. To get admission to any AKTU college, one needs to give UPSEE exam. The college is not very far away from my house so I knew about it already. My college has a vast library and many societies for various students depending on their interests. Overall, it is one of the best private colleges in terms of academic results and the students can get exposure to many things here.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I chose to pursue a Bachelor of Technology from my college because I've always shown an interest in this field from my school time. I came to know about this college for that and I went for it. The faculty teachers are very good and they have a really good knowledge of their respective fields. They know what they're doing here. My class has around 70 students but the teachers pay attention to everyone equally. They are well qualified in their subjects and they also take extra classes, especially for the students not performing well in the sessional exams. My college takes three sessional exams, one each month, before the end sem exam. The syllabus is equally divided in the exams to decrease some burden of the students. The students who do not perform well are given extra attention from the faculty teachers. The difficulty level of the exam is moderate and contains all the necessary questions. One needs to be prepared about their subjects and they can pass easily.

Internships Opportunities

4

My college starts offering internships from the 3rd year onwards to get an outlook on further placements. Students can get internships either from campus or off campus. Students also have to do a project in their last year which is of 500 marks. The students learn various skills and try to make their project as unique and appealing as it can be, as it helps in getting prepared for the work environment. A mentor is assigned to help with the project which is to be presented in front of a supervisor.

Placement Experience

3.5

The companies start visiting my campus in the final year of students. Students also do an internship in their 3rd year to get prepared for what's to come. Many companies like TCS, Wipro, Amazon visit my college. Students can sit in the placement interview after completing some rounds. Last year, a 4th year student from my college got placed in Amazon for an annual package of 38 lacs. Almost every student gets the chance to be placed in one company or another. After completing my graduation, I am thinking of going to German to pursue MS. But before that, I'll get a year or two of job experience. And during that time, I'll focus on the competitive exam for my further studies.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are moderate and affordable. Considering it is a private college, students pay almost 5 lacs for a 4-year course of B.Tech, excluding the hostel stay and mess charges. The college also offers scholarship for students whose family annual income is less than 2 lacs. The students get most of their fees back in their accounts after the scholarship gets approved. Besides that, students can also look for internships around campus offering some stipend to cover up their expenses.

Campus Life

4.5

My college has a various amount of societies and clubs depending on the interests of students. Any student can get part in any number of societies. My college also conducts an annual fest as well, named Zealicon. The fest takes place in March and goes for 4 days, where many societies conduct their events and students take part in them. My college has also a vast library that provides books for every student on campus for their respective semester. There are almost 23 societies in my college that are run by students and students can get recruited in them after a couple of rounds of written test, GD and PI. For example, I am in the official literary society of my college which offers many events and activities for students. Students can learn a lot of things by being a part of any society, besides academic knowledge.

Interview Experience

4.5

To get admission to my college, I had to give UPSEE written exam. The exam was solely based on the 11th and 12th class syllabus so I didn't feel much difficulty preparing for that. The students need to thoroughly revise their 12th board's syllabus and they can perform really well in the exam. After getting the results, I needed to book a slot at my college. Fortunately, I got my college in the first round and I didn't have to wait for further rounds. But some students wait for 3-4 rounds to get admission. After that, one needs to do some formalities and pay the fees to get admitted to the college.

Other Applied Colleges

Vellore Institute of Technology | B.Tech

It was far from my home so I couldn't manage the distance.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I want to be a software developer. The faculty are very kind and helpful. Almost every faculty member has completed there post-graduation from various established colleges. The examination scheme is a little bit slow here. Students can pass their semester exams if they are paying at least 45 per cent of their concentration.
