Remarks
The entrance exam for any west Bengal polytechnic is the JEXPO examination. After getting a good rank in JEXPO one may opt for Diploma in engineering. The Total course consists of six semesters. For vocational students, there is four semester and they have to take admission after completing ITI/Voclet.
Course Curriculum Overview
Electrical engineering is one the major Domain of engineering besides civil and mechanical engineering. Here the faculty: student ratio is almost 1:20. Maximum of the faculty member have master/doctorate holders in specific fields.
Internships Opportunities
Though there are different internship opportunity for the study mainly student are provided internship after getting registered in the INTERNSHALA portal. There is scope for the student also to undergo independent training.

From fifth semester onwards one student can sit for different placements, from second semester itself different pieces of training, internship visit is made compulsory to make the student industry ready this is
Fees and Financial Aid
For six semester the total amount of fees for direct admission is one lakh thirty five thousand, for admission via counselling the fees is less there are several scholarship or quotas for students like kanyashree, TFW, etc
Campus Life
All along the year, there are several academic, cultural events that occur at a college campus. There is an event called POLYPROD for product development. Another signature event of this institute is POLYCON.
