One of the Best Institute I've ever seen. I am proud of my college. I like this institute, it has green environment, good place for study. Enjoyed each and every moment there. And method of teaching is excellent. Thanks, to all staff members.

CAT and I choose this college over IMT, Nagpur and few others because of the infrastructure, batch size and placement records. The process is simple the Candidate has to apply for the Program – PGDM by filling in the Applications Form SDMIMD conducts a Personal Interview of the applicant to assess their suitability for the program the final selection is made considering the applicant’s performance in Personal Interview and Work Experience.

Core academic learning happens through regular faculties, visiting faculties and guest-lectures from reputed organizations and B-schools apart from class-room pedagogy, we had lots of projects, in-college events and assignments to work-on in groups which helps us in building team-skills and ensure peer-learning.

The institute does invites companies for summer internship the SIP is selected according to the chosen specialization of the students. The best Summer Internship Project Reports are published in the 'Excerpts of the Summer Internship Reports' brought out by the SDM Research Center for Management Studies (SDM RCMS) some internships do provide stipends. It may vary from 5000 per month to 40,000. My eight weeks of internship experience was very good.

The Placement & Training Cell exposes students to real-time interview procedures and also assist with the placement process companies from across the sectors visited our campus, Consultancy, Sales and Marketing, BFSI, Manufacturing, IT, Logistics &Supply Chain and HR. Average package of 2013-15 batch was around 5.7 lakhs per annum.

Season starts with freshers party, then visit to Dharmasthala, Undergraduate fest Abhigyaan, Corporate chess tournament, Conferences, Post graduates fest (Naissance). Abhigyan is for undergraduate students. Last year more than 400 students from various parts of the country participated in the event. Naissance is a flagship event of the institute. Last time over 180 students representing B-Schools across India participated in this event.

For fees, I would say it is not that expensive if you compare it with other B-schools. It is Rs 9.8 Lakhs for the 2 year PGDM program including Hostel Stay. Food will be charged on a monthly basis, which approximately works out to Rs. 2500 /- to 3000 /- per month, In addition to the above. Payment of Rs. 9.8 Lakhs will be in installments spread over thus study period (2016 - 2018), the exact amounts to be paid and the last dates for payment will be notified along with the Joining letter.

As far as I know there was no scholarship, but one should check with the administration department of the institute for this.

It's a residential program, the gender ratio was like 40:60 in our batch. We had volleyball, chess, badminton, basketball, table tennis etc. competitions in our campus. Also, we had a well equipped gym and a computer lab. Talking about competitions we had debates for Financial sectors, HR, Operations, Budget conclaves, Workshop on Public Speaking and Presentation Skills, Stress management, etc.

It is a residential program, so room is there for everyone the hostel is indeed a home away from home fully furnished single rooms,lounge/study area, recreational facilities. The facilities in the hostel include broadband internet access, common television set, housekeeping, dry cleaning and laundry services the Mess is managed by the students committee. The Students decide on the menu, fixed for a week. It caters to around three hundred and fifty people, and mixes a variety of North and South Indian vegetarian cuisine.

The alumni network is also very good. Recently we had an Alumni meet(Pratigam) in Bangalore and Mysore. Time to time the institute organizes a guest lecture where alumni come and share their experiences.

The program has a very good course content with group and individual assignments, online quizzes, good mid-semester and end-semester exams. Sometimes days were very hectic and sometimes very relaxed.

Most of the faculty is doctorates with strong industrial and academic backgrounds they are very learned and fit to make a future manager. They are very inspiring, motivating and positive to each and every student.
