Remarks
Since school time, I had an intention of getting into a better college through which I can achieve my dreams. So MJCET was the right choice for me. My college is good at teaching and infrastructure and greenery. It's bad at nothing. Admission process was simple and easy to go through. Reason was, minority college. I surfed the internet for this college and got the site.
Course Curriculum Overview
My dream was to become an IT professional or say IT specialist. Thus chose IT. Faculty student ratio is better than usual. Both interact with each other as per necessities. Faculties were highly qualified and experienced enough in the field whatever the teach. Their method of teaching was also acceptable. We use to have two term exams per year, combining total 8 terms in four years of engineering. They were moderate level to pass in them.
Internships Opportunities
From 3-2, companies visit to offer internships. Recently, Amazon and Service Now appeared for internships. With stipends up to 60000 and 40000 respectively. Mini projects and major projects play a vital role in getting internships.
Placement Experience
From the 6th semester, we will be eligible to sit in the interviews for job placements. Many companies visits our campus for placements. Companies visited include Amazon, Service Now, Deloitte, Wipro, Accenture, Cognizant, and many more. Highest package I guess was 28 LPA. Average was 10 LPA I guess. Profiles for which they look include SDE-I, SDE-II, SQA, etc. 70% students gets placed each year. My plan is also to get placed in a reputed company.
Fees and Financial Aid
As I belong to minority caste, got 100% fee reimbursement. Compared to last year, we can see some hike in the fee structure of the colleges due to change in the policies from government. Financial assistance is also available. I'm now in my 3rd yr currently, so about to appear for job interviews.
Campus Life
Life at campus is just superb. It usually conducts tech fests say adsophos, envisage, etc in the month of feb or march. Library is big enough. Lakhs of books are there available for students. Classrooms are well maintained and sufficient amenities were provided. There is a separate ground for outdoor games and separate section for indoor games. Our college has many social clubs including MSS, CSI, IEEE, ROBOCON, EWB, ACM, etc. Each has its own website.
