I am, a student of the department of Electrical Engineering in Calcutta Institute of technology hereby state that our college is one of the best colleges as per my knowledge. I took direct admission. I choose this college for its faculty member.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose electrical engineering because it was my passion from childhood. Our department strength is 40+. Our faculty members are highly qualified. Exams are conducted timely and our college is very strict regarding academics.
Internships Opportunities
Our college provides internship opportunities to students to get ta proper exposure. The company seelected by the college for internship is Flipkart. Apart from that we go for industrial training in various govt ssectors like WBPDCL ans Indian Railways.
Placement Experience
Students get placement form the begining of 3rd year. Many reputed pvt. companies visits our college every year to hire engineers. They offer a good package for beginers. Almost 90% students get placed in the begining of 3rd year.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees structure is quite reasonable according to me, though I took direct admission. There are few scholarships provided by college(both government and private). Our college provide good placement for students.
Campus Life
Every year annual fest is organized by faculty members. Our classrooms are quite good, the only problem is the washroom. The library service is satisfactory. We can issue any books from the library. Our labs are well equipped and all the lab instruments are in working condition. Annual Sports is held every year in February.
