MITS Gwalior is the most famous and old college in Gwalior. It is an autonomous college and the bad aspect is if I talk about is its location Gwalior city is not considered is big city So if you are from Big city you will face some problem here to adjust yourself. Admission in the college is done on the basis of JEE Mains which is conducted by NTA entry every year. I choose this college because it has its own name in Madhya Pradesh and people considers this in the list of prestigious colleges. Before making choice to select this college I read many reviews on college Dunia, it helps me a lot to choose my dream college
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose the Information Technology branch of BTech because this is the generation of computers and innovation and there is a lot of scope in the future in this field. Student ratio is good, boys ratio girls is something 60:40. The faculty is well educated and qualified, they teach regularly and most of the teachers are dedicated to their work. We have three mid semesters and one end semester exam in one semester, which is of six month
Placement Experience
Every year companies come for recruitment in our campus for final year students. Most of the companies are mass recruiters. Big companies like Byju's , Amazon TCS, Wipro also visits every year. The highest package is 12 lakh per annum. The average package is 3.5 lakh per annum and the lowest package is 1.20 lakh per annum. There are 65% of students got placed in the campus. My plan is to get a good placement after getting my degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
Since it is an autonomous college, fees is quite high as compared to any government college for an information technology course in BTech. you have to pay 70,000Rs. per year as tuition fees. All the scholarships which are provided by the MP government are available in our college like post-matric scholarship for reserved candidates and Medhavi Chhatra Yojana scholarship on the basis of class 12th.
Campus Life
No, there are no fests organised by our college itself. We have our own library in college where students can find their desired books. We have a stadium for playing cricket and football. There are some sports events organised by the college. We have societies and clubs for student development like dance club , music club, drama club, and media & broadcasting club.
