All about TIPS , New Delhi

I'm really happy to be part (student) of GGSIPU which is marked as 57th university on NIRF , and I'm studying in TIPS,New Delhi which is 5th best college for management studies. TIPS is a premium educational institute located just a walking distance from Sector 10 Metro Station, Dwarka. It is A+ graded college. It has a centrally all-weather air-conditioned building, 2 lifts, and active training and placement cell to groom students for internship and placements. The only bad aspect of college is its campus it's basically an 8-floor building that doesn't have a hostel and ground and big auditorium. I got admission over here by giving IPU CET exam, this year most probably it will be held in July or August . One can apply through ipu.admission.nic.in

I have a huge interest in the business field so I choose BBA. The faculty is the best, every teacher is best in their field of study, cooperative and friendly. Some teachers even have a doctorate degree in their teaching subjects and have good no. of experience. Well, there are 3-4 teachers per subject and each class has the strength of 60 students so the interaction remains easy. If you study well exams will seem easy, teachers will have revision classes, you can also borrow books from the library during exams easily. Term exams happen every 6 month while internals will be in between 3-4 month.

College provides with best internships and placements in every field . Companies like amazon, paytm , zee news visits the college during placement drives , students get eligible for placements in there last year . So far 13000+ placements were made and highest package offered was 10 lakh . College also helps with the preparation of PG degree so i will do MBA first .

Fees structure is decent and is set up by GGSIPU itself , as it is a government college ,fees is great !! yes!! IPU provides with different scholarships for students based on their academics . If the student scores around 60% the one will get 60% scholarship ,well attendance is mandatory too which should be above 75%

Campus life is great , we have super fun and interactive event " Anugoonj Prelims " , then we have celebrity talk shows , webinars and seminars , we have "Alumni meet"too. College have 6 societies too so that students can focus on there other skills like Zorks- dance society ,Frames - Film making and photography and many more. books in library are easily available all the time , students can issue books through there library cards and during exams they can issue for a month . Classrooms are fully air conditioned and very spacious. Many students and college society participates in different inter - college competition and give there best , like sports or technological or internship boot camps.

I have appeared for IPU CET , for that they have different centre in each states . My was Lucknow , the centre was fully secured and we were under CCTV cameras , invigilators were there to help . Have given the test on their computer . IPU CET mainly consist of english, general knowledge , logical reasoning and maths . it was around 3 hours paper . It consist of very basic question , i prepared for it from you tube , read newspaper and some common books . The only thing bad about it is there result criteria for outside and inside delhi people , no quota works during the results if obc, st or sc everyone is considered general.
